_Throughout the whole day, Levi couldn't find Drew. He texted her over and over again, but laid off a bit since he realized he was being a little to protective. He had to remind himself that she must be exhausted and anxious today.
Apparently she had different classes than him, but had the same lunch and last hour. He couldn't find her at lunch though, she might have skipped to talk with some teachers.
He did see her last hour which was art class, that was fun. He couldn't talk to her since she was bombarded with other people, she tried her best to smile politely and talk, but the situation got the best of her and she quietly excused herself a bit half way through the class.
Now Levi and Landon we're walking home, Levi was upset to say the least- but thankful Drew is now going to his school.
Levi waved bye towards his companion as Landon was needed home for something. Levi walked into his house, distraught to say the least as he quickly ran up to his room.
The day passed by in a blink of an eye as did the rest of the school year.
Weird occurrences did happen as his relationship with Drew started to change.
Was it for better? Or for worse? No one knows.
He didn't hear much about Liu nor Ben as Ben's contact in his phone disappeared. As for his babysitter, Tim, has disappeared as well. His website was taken down, his contact changed, his address gone. It's like he never existed to begin with.
Everything was changing.
Levi couldn't grasp it.
Luckily, Landon's and Levi's relationships stayed somewhat the same- their bond was strong as did Peters and Aidan's bond grew stronger as well.
Soon middle school was over and high school was upon the children. Drew started her own group of friends, but still managed to be with the others.
Levi's feelings for the girl only grew as did Drew's feelings grew as well. They still managed to keep in great contact, hanging out at least 3 times a week with one another.
Luna's frustration grew more each passing day, though one thing was on everyone's minds.
High school.
Something each kid feared, accepted, relieved, and so forth. The list of emotions can go on and on.
"I wonder if things will stay the same" Levi mumbled as Drew took a glance towards the boy. They were laying down in a field of grass, gazing up at the sky.
"I'm sure they will, if not. I hope it involves for better" Drew replied as Levi smiled upon hearing this. He agreed with her statement as they laid down, enjoying each other's presence before it was time to head home.
"Ready for our first day of high school?" Levi asked as Drew couldn't help but giggle.
"Of course, are you ready?" She beamed which he could only laugh.
"I'm always ready" he chuckled as Drew couldn't help but join in.
"If you say so" the duo got up from the grass and stretched a bit before heading home.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow" Drew mumbled as she departed down a different street towards her house as he smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow" He whispered to himself as he left for his house.
As he entered the house, his younger brother ran/ walked into his arms as Levi bent down to pick him up.
"Hey Elliot" Levi laughed as he spun the little kid around, "missed me?" The boy eagerly nodded as he giggled. His big light blue eyes glistened with happiness as his brown hair flowed with the air as Levi spun him a bit.
"You're so cute, you know that?" Levi laughed as Elliot couldn't help but giggle, his dimples showed as he smiled. His freckles littered his face, he was handsome to say the least.
His eyes and freckles came from Sam as his brown hair and dimples came from Julia. He was the perfect mix of both parents.
He was already 2 years old, he just turned 2 not long ago. Levi sat him down carefully as he made his way to his room, preparing for tomorrow.
"Hey sweetie?" Julia called out as Levi was about to enter his bedroom.
"Yeah?" He asked back as Julia made her way towards Levi. Sam was busy downstairs, working on papers.
"Do you have everything you need for tomorrow?" She asked, concerned about everything. She wanted to make sure she got all the supplies for him. He smiled as he told her not to worry, he was well prepared for tomorrow. She seemed to relax a bit from hearing this.
"Alright, if you need anything you'll know where I will be. I love you son" she hugged him, kissing the top of his head- lucky for her he hasn't hit puberty, well, not the growth spurt yet.
"I love you too mom" he hugged her back and then vanished into his room.
The next day came sooner than expected, Levi was already downstairs eating breakfast with Sam as Julia was busy dressing the two year old who cried out. He was teething, his terrible twos.
"Elliot please work with me here" Julia spoke as the boy continued to cry out, he refused to put his shirt on as his mouth ached from his new teeth cutting into his gums, trying to reach the surface.
"Sam, help me here!" Julia shouted from upstairs as he sighed. Levi chuckled a bit as he finished his plate and quickly said goodbye to his family before grabbing his stuff and making his way to his best friends house.
Landon and him started their walk to school as they talked about God knows what.
