High School Dreams (Desy)

Rachel Berry from Glee will make a guest appearance in this one-shot. Dedicated to PoisonIvysKiss. Jesy is 21 while the rest are 18, except Rachel who is 17 and in 11th grade.

One day in South Shields High School, Demi Lovato was at the lockers with her normal group of friends: Lea Michele, Perrie Edwards, Ariana Grande, Jade Thirlwall, Camila Cabello, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Rachel Berry. It is free period class.

"So guys, how was class today?" Lea asked.

"Good." The girls replied.

"I guess." Demi said.

"Oh, LeLe. You should've seen the look on Demi's face." Rachel laughed. "She was basically drooling over the teacher!"

"No, I wasn't!" Demi defended.

"Dude, she has to keep waving her hand in front of your face because you were literally daydreaming about her." Rachel countered.

"UGH, RACHEL!" Demi yelled, putting her head on her locker.

"I-I'm really sorry, Demz. I didn't mean to..." Rachel apologized.

"No, it's okay, Rach. But I guess I do have a crush on the teacher." Demi mumbled.

The school bell rang, signaling lunch.

"Lunch, finally." She sighed. She is glad this is her last year of school before graduation.

During lunch, Demi was deep in thought about her daydreams with the teacher. That teacher was none other than Miss Nelson. But unlike other teachers, she is a student teacher. It's not like she's in her 40s, she's actually 21. She works for creative writing class. Although, Demi only likes to see how beautiful Miss Nelson is.

Suddenly, standing in front in her was Miss Nelson.

"So I take it that you were daydreaming about me because you have a crush on me, huh?" Miss Nelson asked.

"Yeah, I guess so." Demi admitted.

"Well, I'll tell you what. How about you come over to my house after school?" Miss Nelson offered.

"Well, okay. I'll come over, Miss Nelson." Demi smiled.

"Please, just call me Jesy." Jesy chuckled. "Being named Miss Nelson is just too formal for me."

Demi couldn't help but laugh with her. They talked and ate during the whole lunch period.

"You actually talked to Miss Nelson?" Rachel asked walking with Demi after school is over. "The same teacher you have a crush on?"

"Well more like Jesy, because Miss Nelson sounded too formal for her." Demi replied. "She wasn't that bad after all. I even have her address to find her house.

"Wow." Rachel nodded. "Well, if I could give you some advice, Jesy is a very nice woman. So maybe you should get to know her better, so she can learn everything about you."

"Thanks, Rach. That's some good advice you have there." Demi smiled.

Rachel smiled back and hugged her best friend.

Suddenly, a car horn beeped.

"Oh, that's my dad. See you tomorrow." Rachel waved as she went to her dad's car.

Demi waved back as she catched up with Lea and her girlfriend Perrie at Lea's car.

"Finally, we were about to leave without you." Lea said jokingly.

"Sorry about that." Demi smirked. "I talked with Miss Nelson earlier."

"Really? Tell us." Lea said curiously.

"She found out about my crush on her, and basically wants me to come over to her house." Demi replied.

"Are you serious? Are you really going to?" Perrie asked shocked.

"You bet I am, Pez. She's the most amazingly beautiful teacher I ever know. Plus, she's only 3 years older than us. We're 18 while she's 21." Demi stated as if it was obvious.

Later that day, Demi was at Jesy's house. They actually got to know each other better.

"I have so much fun with you, Jes." Demi smiled.

"Me too." Jesy smiled back. "To be honest, I'm not like any other teachers."

"Really?" Demi asked curiously.

"Yeah, I was around your age when I studied at the school." Jesy replied.

Demi was shocked to learn that Jesy was the girl she talked to during her freshman year. That explains why she has been having daydreams lately.

"Well it is nice to see you again." Demi said with a smile that lights Jesy up. Jesy couldn't help but smile at Demi.

"Well, how about we order dinner, watch some movies and head to bed?" Jesy offered.

Demi nodded with a vibrant smile.

Demi and Jesy had been great friends by that time. And now, months passed, and graduation is finally here. The whole entire senior class was here with all of their parents. Well, all parents except for Demi's. She didn't really expect them to show up, and frankly, she never want them to come. She hasn't even spoken to them ever since they kicked her out for being bisexual during freshman year. She has been living with Lea's family, and made her the new adoptive daughter. As Demi was called, she went on stage and received her diploma. She heard cheers from Lea's family, Rachel, and surprisingly Jesy. Demi flashed a smile at the crowd and returned to her seat.

After three agonizing hours, Demi met up outside with Jesy.

"You were great out there." Jesy said happily.

"Thanks." Demi said with a smile and a hug.

"Can I tell you something?" Jesy asked shyly.

"Okay." Demi nodded.

Suddenly, Jesy pressed her lips onto Demi's own and kissed her. Demi was in shock for a moment until she smiled and kissed her back. She believes this is the first kiss she ever had, and the best. They pulled away after a few minutes.

"I have a crush on you too, and I think you look hot." Jesy smirked.

In response, Demi chuckled and kissed her once again.

Who knew an encounter from freshman year could bring love for each other?
