Btw even though the flashback is in third-person point of view Laura is still telling the story....just not with all this 'detail' .... Oh and even though in lauras view Rikki is sill nora I'll leave it as rikki to keep it easy for you guys

It's been going on for almost an hour. Both still lost in their thoughts of the other being their one true love.

As Laura grows breathless, Aaron notices and releases. He doesn't want her getting hurt. He lays down on the bed next to her. They both lay there with the sheets above them. Laura begins to tear up as she thinks about miscellaneous thoughts that all lead to one main point

What if i said no?

What if I resisted?

What if I stopped him?

What would have happened to rikki?

She thinks to herself

She feels herself getting tired and turns on her side; afraid of aaron seeing her in tears.

She closes her eyes. She won't open them again until she wakes. As her eyes slowly close... A tear drops.

A tear of guilt.

A tear of shame.

A tear of misfortune.

A tear that will haunt her forever.

A tear that will always lead her back to remembering Aaron and this night. A tear that cannot be forgotten.

A tear that reminds her of her family, the lynches, her 'sister' rikki, and the one that causes the crucial pain to grow....

ross.

She falls asleep.....with tears crawling down her face.

Laura's POV

I look up at everyone. I don't realize I'm crying until I feel a teardrop fall on my lap. I sigh and it comes out shaky.

"Look. I'm sorry I lied. I shouldn't have hid it from you but I wouldn't let rikki tell you guys what happened with us" I tell them as my voice cracks

I sigh as I hear my terrible apology repeat in my head

Ryland, "WAIT...US?"

"Yeah why" I ask confused

"you said us...but the story was mainly about y-you" Ross' voice cracks

I think about what I told them and realize I only talked about before rikki came. My eyes grow wide and they all notice.

Riker, "Laura, what is it?"

"I-I ...." I sigh and continue "I didn't finish the story properly. When I woke up...

Aaron was gone"

I look at them and see their confused faces....but most of all, I see some of them tear up as they, I assume, make assumptions on what might happen

"But _____ was there" I finish

Everyone looks up and she looks at him with tears
