"Laura..."
I look up at Ross.
"You're not a bad sister."
W-what? How'd he know? I wasn't even thinking out loud. I know I wasn't. How?
"I know what you're thinking, but no. You didn't think out loud, but.... I know you, and you're NOT a bad sister"
A smile creeps up on my face, but tears continue to form... Then they drop.
He runs over to me sitting next to me.
[ he was sitting in the nearby waiting room, but she was sitting on the bench opposite of the hospital room ]
He wraps his arms around me; setting my head in the crook of his neck. He kisses my forehead. At this point, I don't know what we are. A couple. Or friends with emotional benefits. I don't know. But what I do know is....
I love him.
For who he is. Ross Shor Lynch, I love you.
"Laura, I know you may not feel the same after everything that's happened. But I-I" he sighs letting go of me. He stands up, walking away from me.
What?!
I stand up rather quickly and run to him pulling his arm as he just stands there looking at me.
"WHAT?!" I yell
He jumps a little at my scream.
"What?" I ask as tears form again, but for another reason.
"Laura, I" he looks down, he takes both of my hands in his. He looks up at me
"I love you Laura"
