"Okay everyone, out of the car!" Stormie yells
"Uggghhh mom! I was sleeping!" Rikki yells trying to fall asleep again.
Ryland laughs picker her head up.
"You can sleep inside." He tells her
She groans.
"Just carry her." Mark says moving the middle row so that everyone in the back can get out
"HA! Have fun!" Ross says running out.
"Ahhhh!" Laura says falling down "I thought he was asleep!"
They all get inside.
"I'll be upstairs!" Riker shouts running upstairs
"RIKER ANTHONY LYNCH GET DOWN HERE AND HELP ME PACK"
"YES MA'AM!"
They all laugh as he begins unpacking the bags.
"I SAID PACK NOT UNPACK!" Stormie yells again
< with Rikland >
"Hey...uh...riks?"
"WHAAATTT?" She groans sitting up and rubbing her eyes
He walks over to her and sits in front of her on the bed.
"I- well, first: sorry for ruining your beauty sleep."
She groans laying down.
"Hey, I just wanted to give you something." He says taking the ring out
He takes her hand and she sits up.
"Hey, w-what's that?" He says pointing to her finger.
"What? The ring?" She asks
He nods
"Oh, ross gave it to me. It's our friendship rings." She points to the ring "see, I have 'to infinity', and he has 'and beyond'."
"R-right. I-I gotta go." He says walking out
"Wait, ryland?"
"IM JUST DOWNSTAIRS, OKAY?!"
She cringes at his voice
It reminded her of....Aaron.
She sighs as tears slowly fall down her face.
She looks at the sheets now wet with tears.
She find the ring.
She looks at the ring. She gasps.
She lets the single ring fall to the floor as she runs into the closet to take her small jewelry chest from her dad out.
She opens it and find a ring. The ring.
~ Flashback ~
( Flashback is in Rikki's POV )
Grandma: "here Hun. Take this ring."
She hand me the ring
"It used to be papa's. Here's what I want you to do with it. When you find the guy you truly love, give it to him. I know it's a ring, but he'll love it if he loves you."
Gram looks behind me and smiles. She winks and looks back at me.
~ end of flashback ~
"The rings." She runs back to the bed looking for the ring.
She doesn't find it and looks in the floor.
"Got ya!"
She looks at them.
"That's it. Gram gave me the ring and papa gave Ryland the ring." She smiles "it was meant to be"
