Chapter 63: The plan

Wait! They passed the jet. That's it! The plan was too get us to not know what's happening! She knew I would recognize her. She knew what Aaron would do to get us.
She planned it.
They're going around the back to come to us.
"GUYS! ALL LYNCHES, MARANOES, AND RATLIFF BOARD THE JET NOW! QUICK!"
We run to the jet. They all run in as I show the guard my ID that matches the one of many assigned owners of the plane.
I sign the paper.
I see rikki and grace running towards us.
The police cars arrive outside.
Riker is taking care of Laura and Vanessa. Ellington takes care of Rydel and Faith. Rocky helps mom as dad talks to the pilot.
Aaron.
He makes his turn after them.
The police break in through the doors.
He's speeding up.
Rikki lets go of Grace.
My eyes go wide.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I yell at her
"SAVING MY BEST FRIEND!" She says still running
Grace looks back but continues running knowing it makes no difference.
She runs past me to rocky as he embraces her in his arms.
I watch her as her tears fall down her face.
The noises. The sirens continue. But there's no commotion. My head turns back to rikki.
Who's now in Aaron's arms
