Rydel: "guys I don't know what to wear: hot pink or soft pink?"

Vanessa: "depends, what shoes do you plan on wearing?"

Rydel: holds up light brown wedges

Vanessa and Rikki look at each other then look back at rydel and say "soft pink duh"

Rydel: giggles "okay"

Rikki: "hey ness. What are you wearing?"

Vanessa: "I'm wearing the dress riker got me for our 7 month anniversary"

Rydel: "lucky....I wish ell would've bought me clothes when we were dating" she mumbles under her breath

Vanessa: "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY"

Rikki: makes a 'see what u did' face at rydel "I think she said she wishes she had a boyfriend... Even though I'm sure there's a guy for her there out there" She says trying to hope ness won't notice she's lying

Vanessa: "oh sorry I though I heard...Nevermind"

Rydel and Rikki thought to themselves 'thank god...that was close'

Vanessa: "anyway what are you wearing Rikki?"

Rikki: "oh I'm wearing the black lace dress that Ryland got me"

Rydel: "ughhh.... why does everyone have a boyfriend that buys them clothes????!!!"

They all giggle then get dressed and wait downstairs for ross.

Rikki: "my god what is taking him so long"

Ness: "I don't know its like...oh hey Rikki your phones ringing"

Rikki: "what...where?"

Rydel: "in the kitchen"

Rikki: "okay thx"

Ryland: "you're welcome" he says waking down the stairs then giving rikki a kiss on the cheek.

Rikki: (giggles) " I wasn't thanking you"

Ryland: "yeah yeah" wraps his arms around her waist (from the back) and places his head on her shoulder as she picks up the phone

~CONVO~ (remember ryland can hear it cuz his head on her shoulder)

R: hey

?: hey.

R: why did ya call?

?: just wanted to let you know that we just got off the plane?

R: okay great!

?: by the way ummmm ???????? is asking If you're keeping her secret

(Ryland looks at Rikki and mouthes 'what secret')

R: (sighs) yeah I'm keeping it. Tell her she doesn't have to worry

?: okay. See you soon

R: you too. Bye

?: bye

Rikki: turns around facing ryland

Ryland: "what secret?"

Rikki: looks at rydel and ness hoping for help

Rydel: "it's a friendship secret....she can't tell you"

Vanessa: "yeah you and the guys always keep secrets"

Ryland: "point taken. Okay fine you don't have to tell me"

They smile at each other then ryland pecks her on the lips and goes off to the other guys.

Rydel: "well that was close"

Vanessa: "too close"

10 minutes later

Ross comes walking downstairs

Ross: "I'm ready"

Everyone else: "finally"

Ryland: "dude you took twice as long as the girls"

Everyone nods in agreement

Ross: "Oops"

Then they all get into the car

[ell cancelled cuz he didn't want to cause drama....and only Rikki knows what drama.]

Ross: "so where are we going"

Everyone: "what do you not understand about 'SURPRISE'?"

Ross: "woah did you guys like rehearse that or something?"

Rocky: "nah. it just happens"

They all laugh as riker starts the car
