Bakugou having a crush for the first time

Bakugou is calculating, intelligent, and self-aware to the point of emotional constipation when he realizes something about himself that's jarring...such has having a crush on someone
It's not so much that he considers people in relationships weak, but it would be a massive distraction from his school and hero work
...that's mostly a lie he tells himself, though, because in reality his head is swimming and his palms are sweatier than normal and he just can't stop staring at you like a damn idiot. He hates it
He tries desperately to keep his mind elsewhere, to not think about you, to avoid you at all costs...but every time he turns around a corner, it seems, there you are following him around like an oblivious magnet
Despite being forward and brutally honest about most things, Bakugou keeps these types of feelings buried. It's not that he fears rejection so much that he fears being vulnerable in front of another person
He knows relationships aren't just going on dates or hanging out and getting along: its about trusting each other, and sharing shit you don't share with anyone else, and that terrifies him
When he's alone with his crush he tries to act like he does with everyone else, but sometimes it doesn't work out. He's oblivious when he starts staring, at times, and they ask him if he's OK and he just "yeah, of course I am, why the hell wouldn't I be?"
Despite not even telling his crush that he likes them, he gets jealous and possessive when they're around someone else. He won't do anything about it or say anything lest it give him away, but he'll keep an eye on themSometimes, when he's having a rough day and something goes wrong or his bottled up emotions get the better of him, he'll wish he could just confess to make things easier on himself, that it might be nice to have someone to lean on...but instead he bites his lip and tells himself that it's stupid, that they'd use his vulnerability against him even though logically he knows you'd never do that
When the two of you are in a friend group together, he tries to stand or sit next to you if just to keep other people away, and luckily you don't seem to mind
He thinks he's far better at hiding his feelings than he actually is, and a few people pick up on it and give him severe side eye whenever he consciously stands next to you or is nice when he's rude to everyone else. They know saying something would mean certain death, though
