Midoriya Tells off Mineta

Today was a training day, meaning everyone was buzzing with excitement at getting to let out pent up energy outside during hero exercises. The boys were putting on their hero costumes in the locker room, chatting idly about what Aizawa or All Might could make them do.

"Iida-kun, I hope we get paired up to spar today. Your new super move is coming along and I wanna see if I can block or deflect it." Midoriya took his green hero costume out of his locker, thinking about his own training regimen and improving his Shoot Style.

"I can tell you've been practicing outside of class, Midoriya. But you aren't the only one," Iida said in return, tying his shoes tightly. The last thing he needed was a stray shoelace while he was running with his Quirk.

Turning around Midoriya spotted Mineta looking particularly drooly, and while his often lewd or inappropriate behavior was usually cause for concern that wasn't what made him stop getting dressed. It was who that behavior was currently directed towards.

"You've seen (y/n) right? I hope she comes to visit UA again soon, the skirts at her school are shorter than the ones here oh man..." Mineta said, drool pooling down the side of his mouth. Suddenly a strong hand clamped down on his shoulder, bringing him out of his imaginative stupor. "Huh?"

"Hey, Mineta-kun...do you mind not talking about (y/n) like that? I don't think it's really appropriate..." He was smiling down at his classmate nervously, but Midoriya's voice was steady and his grip on Mineta's shoulder tightened ever so slightly with each word.

With a gulp Mineta nodded his head, the looming figure of Midoriya slowly retreating back to Iida.

"You know Iida-kun, I wouldn't mind if Mineta-kun was my partner today, either," he said slamming his locker closed nearly denting the metal at the handle.
