A/N: To everyone who thought Jordan Grace was something, meet Cameron Bailey :)
Locking my car door, I walked towards the building that I would be entering for another ten months. Only ten more months, I thought to myself. Then I can finally leave this place behind and go travel the world wherever my life takes me.
I grabbed the door handle to the building then before I could open it enough to walk through, I was harshly pushed and bumped into the side of the door.
Looking in front of me, I saw Cole running through the hall and looking back at me with a smirk then disappearing around the corner.
Ignoring him, I held onto my bag strap and I walked in the building where the cool air instantly hit me and it felt like I was walking through a freezer.
The place was always so damn cold, not sure why. It seems as though the hotter it was outside, the colder it is in here. During the winter this place is like a sauna. It's pretty crazy how it's the complete opposite in different seasons.
I walked through the hall towards my first class, which was in the lab. I'm glad that Cole is only in one of my classes because I couldn't handle him in any more than the class we do have together.
Taking my usual seat in front of a computer, I took my bag and placed it next to me before grabbing my notebook and pencil out it. I placed the bag on the table then logged onto the computer.
A few minutes passed, and our instructor came in saying his usual hello's to the class. There wasn't a lot of people in this class, which doesn't bother me so the instructor only stays at one side of the whole classroom since it was a pretty big classroom.
There was about ten people in average.
As he went through his introduction, he gave us our assignments then told us to finish them before the end of the class. That gave us all enough time to get it done since there were fifty minutes in each class.
I was writing things down, occasionally looking on the computer to help, then I noticed that our instructor, Mr. Thomas, was standing over me. I looked up at him and made eye contact.
He smiled. "Already on top of your game, Miss Brooks."
Nodding, I smiled at him. "Yes, sir."
"Keep up the good work." I watched as he walks around, helping other students. Mr. Thomas is a young instructor, probably the youngest one here. He's about thirty two, which isn't bad and he doesn't look his age.
Plus, he's a super cool instructor. I've had him plenty of times and he's one of those instructors that act a little immature but still mature enough to know what he's doing.
Looking at the clock on the wall, I noticed that we had about twenty minutes left of class and I was already done with my assignment. I love how I can get my work done without any interruptions, just focus on what needs to be done.
Placing everything in my bag, I stood up and walked over to where Mr. Thomas was standing in front of his little podium then handed him the assignment paper.
He smiles as he grabs it from my hands, then places it in a folder before turning towards me. "You never disappoint. You're probably the fastest working student that I've ever taught."
Shrugging, I smiled at him. "I just know how to focus."
"Keep up the good work. You may leave." He smiles.
I thanked him then walked back over to where I was sitting, turned off the computer then pulled my bag strap over my shoulder. I gave Mr. Thomas a salute before walking out of the classroom.
