The week progressed itself out and nothing too exciting happened. The last time I was at Cameron's house was the last time cause she hasn't asked me since then.

She hasn't even asked to hang out at all the rest of the week, which was strange but I didn't let it bother me.

It seems as though something was bothering her cause she wouldn't talk to me after classes or make eye contact with me. She didn't talk to me at all and it left me extremely confused.

If I did something, I have no idea what the hell I did. She won't talk to me and I'm not a bother, so I haven't exactly went up to her and asked.

Until now.

It was Friday, we were in her class and it was about to end. I knew that I would go talk to her after it ended and find out what the hell was going on.

I tried texting her a few times throughout the week but got no response.

After she ignored me, it got me thinking about what she said that night I was at her house. She said that if it didn't work out between us then we could still be friends.

I still have no idea what she meant by that but it's all not making a whole lot of sense.

Then again, nothing ever does when it comes to her.

Class ended and everyone walked out of the door, except for me. I stayed back, leaning in my chair with my arms crossed, watching her from the back of the room.

We made eye contact. Even from here, I could see she was hiding something from the way she looked at me then instantly looked at her computer.

Walking over towards her, I tried to make this situation calm and not jump down her throat. I just wanted to know why she was acting the way she was, and we could talk it through.

"What's going on, Cameron?"

She looks up at me. "What do you mean?"

I crossed my arms. "You've ignored me all week. The last time we hung out or even talked was that night at your house." I stared at her. "So?"

"There's nothing going on. I've been busy. I'm sorry."

"Good lie." I nod. "Now can you tell me the truth? I'm here to talk."

She sighs. "There's nothing to talk about, Micah. I'll call you later tonight, ok?"

Watching her, she went back to her computer and there was no way that I was walking out of that door without some type of communication. What she's giving me now is not what I wanted and I wasn't leaving.

"Look.." I sigh. "I like you, Cameron. We both pretty much admitted that. Even though we're not really dating, I still want to talk things through, ok? I don't do relationships but I want to try with you."

She kept her eyes away from me which was testing my patience at the moment. I didn't want to leave but she wasn't giving me any answers, so there wasn't anything I could do.

"Ok. See you." I grab my bag then walk towards the door.

Before I could make it to the door, she reaches it before I do and grabs my arms. I look at her as she's standing in front of me.

Her grip from my arms loosen and she stares at me before looking down and sighing. "I'm sorry, Micah."

"Why?"

Her eyes meet mine. "For making all this complicated. My life isn't exactly perfect."

"And I'm not expecting you to be, Cameron." I watch as she stares at me. "Nobody has a perfect life and everyone has secrets. I'm not asking for you to spill them, I just want to know what's going on."
