"I'll take two of my usual's, please." I smile as Jasmine was standing behind the counter.
She gave me a weird look before turning around and starting to make my drink. I took this time to look around the Starbucks shop at everyone and all the things on the walls.
As long as I worked here, I never took the time to notice all the different things that were scattered all on the walls. I never really saw the small things about this shop, which I never do but I think I will start doing.
Jasmine hands my coffee's to me and smiles at me. "I think we're both working this weekend."
"Together?" I ask.
She nods. "Yep."
I smile at her. "Awesome."
"I'll see you around, Micah."
Walking out of the shop, I held onto my coffee's. I usually don't get two coffee's but only one of them is for me. Jasmine might have thought that they're both for me since I sometimes get two, but not this time.
One is for Cameron.
I decided to do something nice for her and show her that I care about her and I can be a great girlfriend.
It's crazy to think that we're officially dating now. It doesn't seem real, and the reason for that is because it happened so fast. We both admitted our feelings to each other then it was like a sudden car wreck, in your face and it happened.
I'm not complaining though because I want to see where this takes me. I want to see if this time I can actually hang onto something because even though I just met Cameron about a month ago, I already know plenty about her and I can't wait to know more.
Holding onto my coffee's, I walk into the building of the college and make my turn to her classroom. I couldn't contain my excitement when I reached the door.
I had to take a few deep breaths before pushing the door open with my hip and walking in. I saw her standing at her podium and I couldn't help but smile as I approached her.
"Good morning."
She looks over at me with a confused look on her face. I saw her eyes scan the coffee's in my hand before looking back at me. "Morning, what are you doing?"
"I brought you a coffee." I sat her cup down on the podium and smiled at her.
"Thank you, Micah. But why?"
I shrugged as I looked at her. "Just wanted to be a nice girlfriend."
Saying that felt weird to say but my heart was thumping the whole time.
A smile appeared on her face and it made me smile. She picked up her cup and took a sip, never letting her eyes leave mine.
It was like watching someone from afar in a crowded coffee shop in the middle of a small town in another country. There's a billion people around but your only focus is on the person across the room. Everyone else just seems to disappear.
She makes everyone else disappear and sometimes that's a scary feeling.
"That' really good. My favorite." She smiles then leans over and gently kisses my cheek.
I knew my face was red by the time she pulled away but dammit, I really can't help it around her. I needed to just chill out but around her.. that's not possible.
"So, what are you plans for this evening?" I ask.
She types something on her computer then looks over at me. "Brailynn has a school play after school."
