Ice

The air was freezing and snow fell ,the floor was covered in thick snow ,every lake had frozen and was now ice ,the sky was yellow and dark with no sign of birds or any movement,this place was very cold and dark.
The gang had been hiking up many mountains for hours and the winds were picking up ,and blizzards were forming . Damon was holding onto Katherine as the two reached the top of the last mountain ,damon pulled him self up with The rest following ,he scanned the snowy land . Ric leant down out of breath and pointed at the far end of the strange world ,there it was ,her castle . It was made of ice ,everything was ice the windows ,the doors ,the walls even the wall surrounding the castle .
"That's where elena is,we need to move ..now" damon suggested
Gold stepped forward "listen mr .Salvatore you know we only have about 3 hours remaining ..if we need to go we go?!"
"Is there anyway we could get over there any quicker?"Emma asked with Killian holding her hand .
Regina stood forward and rolled her eyes "I can get us over there "
Everyone stared at her "how?"
Regina raised her hands and whispered a spell quickly ,with a slight movement everyone was stood outside the castle gates . Damon pushed past a white bush quietly moving the branches
"No guards?" He asked
"The snow queen doesn't need guards if I must say"gold smirked
Emma stood forward scanning the castle windows , Gold stood forward pulling everyone in to a huddle
"We have to do this now ..the queen is not at her castle but she will return in exactly 1 hour , elena is in the dungeon on the 5th floor of the underground ..now we need a plan."
Katherine rolled her eyes "I am not going in there that queen wants me dead ,hm no thanks -"
"Which is exactly why we're giving you to her you little whore "
Katherine gasped ,Regina stood forward as Emma and Killian followed
"Right me,Emma ,Damon and Katherine head for the dungeon while you 3 stay here on watch .Bonnie and Gold if she appears you warn us by sending a signal-"
Killian stood forward grabbing Emma's arm "no you're not going ,I'm not risk-"
Emma leaned in and kissed Killian before pulling him in for a hug "I'll be fine I have Regina and Damon-"
"That's what I'm worried about love "
~Elena slowly sat her self up onto her hard concrete bead in the dark dungeon of the castle ,a voice appeared from the stairway as footprints came closer and closer ,the dungeon door flew open and guards dressed in silver armour flew down the concrete steps and straight towards Elena . Elena sat up instantly stepping backwards until she felt the cold wall , a guard rushed in and grabbed her by wrist pulling her away . Elena began to scream as her wrist bled in pain , the guard suddenly stopped and fell to the ground,her heart suddenly stopped as Damon stood behind the body with a heart in his hand . He threw it to the floor and ran towards Elena instantly lifting her to her feet
"D-amon, you knew-"
"Knew what?"he smirked before kissing her
"That it wasn't me ,you knew it was Katherine ..i thought I'd never see you again Damon .."
Damon pulled her up and vampire sped to the top of the stairs and into the main hall of the ice castle , Regina ,Emma and Katherine were stood waiting keeping watch for the snow queen . Damon nodded and grabbed Katherine swapping her for Elena , Katherine began to scream
"This -is what you get for messing up my life Katerina "
Katherine began to squeal , The castle doors opened as Ric rushed in with his bag pack in his hands ,he grabbed Katherine as he gazed into her eyes
"You will pretend to be Elena and stay here in the dungeons ,if the queen ever releases you ..you never bother us again , you deserve this"he whispered
A tear fell from Katherine's eye as she headed towards the dungeon where she's spend the rest of her life , Damon pulled Elena in and kissed her cheek ,everyone began to walk towards the door when Killian walked in with Gold following
"Ah Elena great timing ,we have to go" he smirked
Regina stood forward "me and Emma are staying here ..we have some un-finished business ok? I don't want any crap off anyone asking why ,I just need you all to get out of here before she comes back-"
Killian stood forward pushing Regina out of the way "no Emma! You're coming home ,what about Henry ?!"
"Which is why you're going him Killian..you'll take care of him ..we won't be long I swear "Emma cried cupping killians face
Killian shook his head "no !-"
Bonnie raised her hand whispering a spell as Killian fell to the ground
"He'll wake up in Storybrooke ,don't worry.."she sighed "we need to go guys ..the ones that are coming .."
Damon nodded "let's go ,Bonnie open the portal "
Bonnie raised her hands as Gold watched ,the portal opened and it was time to go home , Damon grabbed killians leg and walked through the portal with Elena ,Ric Gold and Bonnie following .
~ As everyone filled the living room of the lake house Damon sat on the couch with elena in his arms . As the two gazed into eachothers eyes ..the two were interrupted by Ric
"Sorry to interrupt you but don't you think it's a little odd that Emma and Regina wanted to stay? How will they get home?"
Damon sat up "to be honest Ric i only wanted to get home so I don't exactly care "
"Ric's right Damon ,Killian seemed really upset when Regina mentioned them staying to 'sort something out' ..which means-"
"He's going to come back here"Damon sighed "he's going to want our help to get them back ,well no Bonnie our deals over ,we're all home safe and happy ,golds taken Killian back to Storybrooke ,so we're all good"
He turned back to elena and scooped her up before kissing her neck.
