quick explanation as to why izzy has these "moods"! by Hitaru A. Kaneki
Hitaru: 'Cause I know magic! Basically. Elementals are supposed to have a lot of empathy, as are hybrids! Izzy is both, so naturally he should have a TOTALLY empathetic attitude, right?... well, he has quite an apathetic approach to life. However, because he's supposed to be super empathetic, he has flashes of emotions he's kept inside, usually about once or twice a month. Plus, because he doesn't usually feel this stuff, izzy usually has these emotions AMPLIFIED, as he doesn't show the emotion and in fact pushes it away! so, there you go!
