Holly hated her dad.
Hate was a strong word.
She didn't want to use that word.
Because she wanted to use an even stronger one.
She despised her dad.
She sighed as she fixed her hair. She notices that her hands began to frost. She ignored it and walked out of the bathroom.
She silently prayed that her father wouldn't notice.
Please. She wouldn't be able to stay calm if he commented on her icy hands.
It was something that happened when she got upset.
She walked out of the restroom and saw her father.
Her father sat there, reading. He looked up and scoffed upon seeing Holly's hands, slightly frosted, frosting over more at his scoff.
"Learn to control your powers." He ordered as he set his book down, his icy blue eyes cold and tough.
This comment only made Holly's hands frost more as she turned to leave. Her friends would come to pick her up to go to Sayako's house any minute now.
"Leave me alone, please." Holly begged as her hand lay on the doorknob of her front door. Frost transferred onto the door.
Her father laughed. It was a cold and harsh laugh. It made Holly hate him all that much more.
"I'll leave you alone when you aren't as pathetic as your mom."
Holly's senses filled with anger.
Her father constantly spoke about what a terrible person her mom was, how she 'ruined his life'.
"Shut up," Holly muttered.
Her father stood up.
"You're just like your fucking mom. Disobedient, a horrible person in general."
Holly broke down.
"Your mom was a fucking terrible person."
"IF MY MOM WAS A TERRIBLE PERSON, THEN YOU'RE SATAN!" Holly screamed, letting go of the handle and running to her room.
She threw herself on her bed and quickly texted her friends, 'hey i cant come dont come to my house'
She sobbed into her pillow as she silently prayed.
She wanted to live with her mom.
This wasn't fair.
She closed her eyes and hugged the blue stuffed bear her mom gave her.
She wanted her mom back...
