CHAPTER 62

"Secure the place. Make sure he can't escape. He'll be our ace for sure." I said with conviction.

Hindi pwedeng makawala ang alas namin sa oras nato. Ilang buwan ko siyang hinantay. Ilang buwan akong nanahimik para lang mangyari ang araw na ito.

Napatingin ako kay Xavier na patuloy parin sa pag instruct sa dalawa. Halatang pinipigilan niyang magalit dahil panay ang lingon niya sakin. Napakunot rin ang nuo niya na tila curious kung sino ang tumawag matapos niyang makita na binaba ko ang phone ko galing sa tenga.

"Make sure to give me the finance record on time without further errors or I'll fire you." banta niya bago pinaalis ang dalawa.

Napataas naman ang kilay ko ng itaas niya ang daliri niya motioning me to come to him. Anong trip ng isang to? Tumayo nalang ako para puntahan siya. Uupo na sana ako sa visitor's chair ng sumimangot siya.

"Come here." dabog niya.

Napangisi nalang ako sa reaksyon niya. Naglakad ulit ako para makapunta sa mismong harapan niya. He held my hand, making me sit on his lap.

I stared at his face with amusement. How many times did I told myself that he is clearly and undoubtedly handsome. Everytime I look at him, I feel my whole universe shaking. My heart is abnormally racing and losing its normal pace. While my mind turns black but filled with thoughts about him.

"What are you looking at?" amusement is visible in his words. His eyes twinkle in happiness.

"Nothing." I held his face. Tracing my fingers in every part of his face.

His proudly tall and pointed nose. His red and delectable lips. His very angled jaw that made him look hotter than the sun.

"Can you see it?" pilyo niyang tanong.

"See what?" sakay ko.

"My face." he grinned.

"Of course. I can see it very clearly. I'm not blind after all." I rolled my eyes.

Why ask a very obvious question?

"Well, thats the future father of your kids in the near future. He is the man that will wait for you in the altar." gone the grinning face.

He looks so serious while saying every single words of it. He hugged my waist while I'm steady and unmovable for a minute. Still digesting what he said.

"I know its not the right time. But there's no right time for us. Even in the next generation I knew we can't stop evilness in this world. We may be old and have grey hair but we can't change the fact that we can't bring Orgues down fully. We can win everytime. But we can't kill every single one of them. They are like germs. We can only kill ninety-nine percent of them. Yet, It still have one percent alive. Orgues are like humans too. Even if they are demons. They used to bear offsprings that can be like them and will take their legacy in the future."

I looked at him with sadness in my eyes. All that he said were all true. I can't contradict for I knew it was the fact.

"But I'm scared."I looked at him, deeply. I want him to see my soul. The whole me. The whole package I have. Positive or Negative. Bad or good. What I yearn for all these years. I'm not perfect. I do lack in many ways too.

"I'm scared to lose you. Being my boyfriend is different from being my husband. I'm more afraid that they'll hunt you down to drag me to dirt. Halang ang sikmura ng bawat kalaban ko, Xavier. I can't take losing you." I rest my head at his shoulder.

"What's gonna change? What's the difference. Boyfriend or husband,I'll always be in danger. I already accepted since the day I was born that I won't have a normal life."
