No doubt about it. (Dimitri x Reader)

This continues the story of "Lucky To Have You"

The flowers were just so pretty this season. You loved all of them, so you tended to them whenever you got the chance.  

"You are so pretty." you whispered to a blue flower while you watered it, making sure to water the soil and not the plant itself. "I just wish-- Achoo!-- that you wouldn't-- A-achoo!-- make me sneeze."

You moved on to the next flower. This one still hadn't bloomed. You smiled softly. "I get the feeling." you said to it, "Knowing you have to one day become all regal and beautiful, but you're still not -- achoo! -- ready." You finished tending to the flower and moved on to the next one.

"A-achoo! Come on allergies just a few more." you readied the watering can, but just as you were about to pour out the water it was taken from you. "Huh? Woah, hey!" That momentary distraction had been enough to leave you defenseless for a few moments. And that was all the time he needed. "Dimitri! Put me down!"

"I would love to, Y/N. But someone doesn't know how to stay away from the things that hurt her."

He walked out of the Greenhouse with you over his shoulder. "Could you at least carry me in a more elegant way?"

He scoffed, "What so you can have access to my face and attack me. No thank you."

"I wouldn't do that!'' you protested.

"I have scars that beg to differ." he argued.

"I was ten!"

It didn't matter what you said, Dimitri was going to take to as far away from the Greenhouse as he possibly could.

He finally set you down when you made it to the Blue Lions Classroom. 

You crossed your arms with a pout, sat on a table and looked the other way.

"Oh, don't be like that." Dimitri tried, but you ignored him.

"I was just trying to protect you." he tried to meet your gaze and gave you the saddest puppy dog look he could muster.

You closed your eyes and your frown deepened. He was not going to win this one.

He sighed deeply, "You are incredibly stubborn you know." 

You smirked. 

"To be honest, I find your stubbornness endearing."

You blushed, but still didn't budge.

"I guess that's because I love you so much. Ah-- I mean--" he tried to correct himself, but it was too late.

You opened your eyes in shock and turned to look at him, but, before you could react further, Dimitri gave you a kiss on the cheek and ran out of the classroom.

"Dimitri!" you yelled after him, standing up to start running too. "You can't just say something like that and run away, you jerk!"

You ran in the direction you saw him go, but you were so distracted by what he said that you ran right into someone's chest.

"Whoa, hey there. Are you that excited to see me?"

"Move, Sylvain."

He put a hand on his chest in mock hurt. "Not even a hello for your dear friend."

You stared at him, with an annoyed expression only the people in your family could match. "Hello. Now are we done here."

As you tried to run past him he stopped you. "Wait, don't you wanna spend some time with me? You know get lunch, have a stroll around the grounds." He shot you the smile that he used on all the girls and you mentally gagged.

"Sylvain, I--"

"I know, I know. You're betrothed to the future King and all that. But you're not married yet. It wouldn't harm anyone if you decided to look around a bit."

You smirked at him, "Actually I was going to say that I am completely uninterested."

"Ouch, you Fraldarius kids really don't hold back any punches, do you?

"Nope! Bye!"

"Wait!"

"What!"

"Just wanted to let you know that I'm stalling."  he smiled innocently.

You quirked an eyebrow, but soon realization dawned on you. "You both are jerks!" you yelled as you kept running.

You ran all over the Monastery but you couldn't find him. Maybe he was really embarrassed. 

Or, you thought sadly, maybe he didn't mean it...

No, you didn't know that.

Well whatever the case you couldn't deny the fact that your heart was beating faster than it ever had before, and it wasn't a result of the running.

There was no doubt about it. 

You were in love with Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd.
