"Tremble before us! We are the great navy of Almyra! Resist and we'll burn this town to the ground!"

The Golden Deer were currently deployed on a mission to stop pirates before they could pillage a town. The Pirates kept insisting they were Almyrans. You could clearly see they were not.

Your blood was boiling. They always paint Almyrans like the bad guys. Like these horrible inhuman monsters that just wanted to destroy.

It made you sick. It wasn't fair. There are bad people everywhere. It wasn't like Almyrans were born evil while the people of Fódlan were born saints. You had met enough people in Fódlan to know that some were even nastier than the nastiest crooks in Almyra.

Some Almyrans were bad, just like some people in Fódlan were bad.

Where you were born didn't decide if you were good or bad!

"Huh? Sure, those look like Almyran ships, but I guarantee you they're just common pirates." You heard your brother say, barely keeping up his facade.

You put your sword back in it's sheath and readied your magic; you had some ships you wanted to blow up.

You and Khalid were the first to reach the pirate's boss. Thanks your Wyverns and your anger fueled determination.

You were beside your brother, backing him up as he faced the enemy.

"How could you commit such crimes in the name of Almyra? It's because of two-bit miscreants like you that Almyrans suffer so much hate!" Khalid said angrily.

"Sh-shut up! Say what you will, we're the real navy of Almyra!" the pirate uttered unconvincingly.

"As Princess and Second in line to the Throne of Almyra, I can assure you, you are not. I don't take kindly to scum like you impersonating my people!" you said fiercely, with every ounce of authority you could muster.

Your little speech would have probably had more impact if it had come from the first in line for the throne. But since he couldn't deliver it, you would have to do.

"T-the-- The what?! You're lying!" the man said in panic.

Khalid scoffed, "That's rich coming from you."

You both readied your bows and prepared to fight.

After the battle was won, the Professor, Alois and Shamir went to discuss the reward with the merchants. Your classmates took the opportunity to explore the town.

"Wanna come with us, Y/N? I'm going to see what food they have while Ignatz looks for paint and stuff."

You were still pretty shaken up from the battle, but you managed to reply, "Thanks, Raphael, but you guys go ahead. There's some things I need to discuss with Claude."

The boys looked at each other as if they noticed something was off.

"If you're sure..." Ignatz answered.

"I am. Go have fun guys!" you told, them waving them off.

After they walked away you turned to go find your brother. You stared at the ground as you walked along.

This is why you had wanted to come to Fódlan. To learn about the feelings they held towards Almyrans. If you knew that, maybe you could help foster a more amicable relationship.
