You had just become a Professor at the Garreg Mach Monastery a few weeks ago. You had graduated from the Officer's Academy a few years back, and given that you had been a model student and were a gifted swordswoman they had hired you.

It also didn't hurt that they were in need of an immediate replacement and you just happened to run into Alois (who then recommended you to Lady Rhea) when you came by to deliver some things to your baby brother. (Not really a baby, but he hates it when you call him that; so you call him that.)

To be quite honest. You had not been in the best mood when you arrived. You hated being treated like a messenger for your family. You were the oldest child of House Gloucester. You might have been the heir as well, if you had only been born with a Crest. But even then, since your brother was the only male child of the Gloucester House, he would have probably been designated the heir no matter what you did.

Since you were born without a Crest, you were essentially "useless" to your family. The only hope your a father saw of you "completing your noble duty" was for you to be married off to whichever noble wanted you. Since you had the possibility of bearing a child with a Crest, a few suitors had already cropped up.

This whole situation disgusted you.

And what disgusted you even more was that fact that your brother was just like them.

Despite the fact that now you were a lot happier, just remembering that first day at the Monastery made you cringe.

"Ah, sister."

You had been strolling the grounds, looking for your brother when you heard his pompous voice calling out to you. You rolled your eyes and turned around. He was always so excessive.

"Aw, if it isn't my baby brother! I've missed you, kiddo." you answered with a smirk, which turned into a smile as you saw Lorenz's face fall into a frown.

"I have told you time and time again never to call me that." he said unhappily.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Here's your stuff." you said, handing him the box your father had sent.

He grabbed the box and stared at it with a frown, "Father made you come all the way here just to deliver this?"

You sighed, "You know how it is… Anyways," you changed the subject, "what happened to your hair?"

His eyes widened with worry, "What? Is there something wrong with it."

That's when you realized this must have been the haircut he had gotten done when he left home; you hadn't been there to see. If you had, you would have stopped this from happening.

You reached up to ruffle his hair jovially, "No, nothing. It really complements your personality."

"Hey!" When you moved back, he started trying to fix his now messed up hair. It didn't work too well. "That was unnecessary."

"Au cotraire, Baby Brother. But anyways," you gestured to the box, "I'll leave you to it." With those parting words, you turned around and started walking away.

"Do not call me--" you heard Lorenz exclaim before stopping himself and sighing.

You decided to stay a while longer, to say hi to a few people you knew.
