This continues the story of "Let us be friends" and "Never had a friend before".

You were sitting on your bed, in the room you shared with you sister. The book you had looked for for so long was in you hands, as were the tears that had fallen down onto them.

You had finally had a chance to read the book you had taken from you "brother's" office. The things it told you were heartbreaking.

The Curse of Saint Celestine.

The Curse of a Crest that was lost to time.

There had been a person who had had that Crest, your Crest. But as the books told you, they had died. The book explained how as well.

There had been a beast, not a dragon, but akin to the Immaculate one. It has gone after the person who had Celestine's Crest... and their entire family.

Sure, they only acquired your Crest by stealing your blood, but... There deaths, the description of the supposed Holy Beast...

It had been you.

The children of the goddess were all born with the power to transform into great beasts. You and your sister, albeit a part of the second generation, had also been born with this ability.

But you had lost that ability many, many years ago... Or so you had thought. The presence of your blood in another must have triggered something within you... Something you couldn't control.

You were terrified.

Terrified of what you had done and terrified of yourself.

So this is what he had been hiding from you. You didn't agree that he should have hid it, but knowing what you did now... You couldn't fault him.

"Sister?"

How long had Flayn been here? You quickly hid the book and wiped your tears. "Yes?" you smiled at her.

She crossed her arms with a stern look. "It seems my dear little sister is hiding something."

Usually you would have denied it, but you couldn't bring yourself to. So you just frowned.

You stood up and made to leave the room, "There is no need to worry," you said, your gazed on the floor, "I know what I must do."

You left, making your way towards his office, preparing yourself to talk to the man you had been avoiding for so many years now.

"Y/N?" he asked surprised seeing you at the door of his office. As you walked in and closed the door without a word, he grew worried, "Is something the matter?"

You still didn't answer, you simply handed him the book. Upon seeing the cover his confusion remained, so you spoke up, "I... Open it."

He did just that and his eyes widened, "But this... You took the book?"

You nodded, "I wanted to know what you were hiding. There had always been this gap in my memory... And n-now..." Tears streamed down your face and you felt as young as you looked.

Seteth stood up and walked towards you. "I was only trying my best to protect you, sis--" But he hesitated, unsure what to do or say.

But you were sick of all this, sick of avoiding him, sick of missing him. And you were definitely sick of not being able to call him your dad.

You didn't need a brother right now. You needed your dad.

There was no one around. No reason to hide.

You jumped into his arm, something you had not done in years and you let out your tears, "Father, I am so sorry!" You weren't sure how many things you were apologizing for but they were all in your heart as you spoke.

He hugged you back and eventually spoke too, "There is nothing to apologize for, my sweet Celestine."

I've been missing for some time now, sorry!! It's been a rough couple of months.
