The fight against Nemesis was painfully difficult. When all seemed lost, and the former Golden Deer were barely able to stay on their feet, a battle cry ran out from the north.

You look to see what it's was and you could barely believe it.

It was the Kingdom army led by your brother.

For the second time this year, you were glad to find out he hadn't died.

With Dimitri's forces holding back the 10 elites, Claude and Byleth finally had an opening to battle Nemesis directly.

And once the final blow was struck, you wasted no time tackling Dimitri into a hug.

"You're alive! Y-You're alive!" you exclaimed, already in tears.

Dimitri hugged you back. The hug was strong and heartfelt. "Thanks to you, my little sister."

"Me? I didn't do anything." you said, still not letting go for fear that if you did he would disappear.

"Your words to me that day, while not enough to break through my thick skull, they were the key to others completing their intended purpose." he said, "Without that, I would not be here right now."

He paused for a moment and when you both parted, he solemnly said, "I am sorry for the pain I have caused you."

You shook your head with a smile, "I'm just glad you're here."

"I hate to break up this touching moment, but I think it's my turn for a hug."

You rolled your eyes at Claude.

"Come here." you said, opening your arms.

While hugging Claude you heard him whisper, "It's over now."

.

Months passed and the reconstruction effort all around Fódlan was still going strong. You had been helping Dimitri rebuild the Kingdom, while Claude focused on the Alliance.

You weren't sure which of your homes to help first, but Claude told you that it was better if you stayed with Dimitri.

That was a sweet gesture, but you knew it was partly spurred on by the fear that the soon-to-be-crowned king might snap again.

Adrestia was in the trustworthy hands of the Professor. It was the hope of all of you that with the leadership of these three people, a good relationship could be fostered between the territories and that, maybe one day, the lines between the three could be blurred.

Fortunately, the Kingdom's recovery was far enough along that it's new king could finally be crowned.

Unfortunately, this also meant that their new princess would also be crowned.

Of course the king's coronation was a far more important event that the coronation of the princess, the latter was mostly just a formality. But that didn't mean you could avoid attending.

"Is all this really necessary?" you asked your brother with a pout as you unhappily marched into his room.

You were wearing uncomfortable, formal clothes, about 100 pounds of makeup upon your face and your hair was tied into the most intricate braids you had ever seen.

The only comfort was your locket. It still held the note inside and it made you feel like your father was watching over you.

But even the locket wasn't enough to ease the butterflies in your stomach.
