Takes place after "Sleep".

Apparently sneaking around trying to make sure your brother didn't find out about your little arrangement with Linhardt was harder than it seemed.
Especially with Flayn in the know. She wasn't exactly "miss subtle" when it came to secrets. You were surprised she hadn't outright told anyone she was Saint Cethleann.
But what might have made the situation worse was probably that she insisted on gushing about how "adorable" you and Linhardt were together.
But you had to admit the most mortifying thing she did was trying to talk to Linhardt about "protecting her sisters honor" or something along those lines.
Gosh, she needed to stop reading romance novels.
At least Linhardt seemed to not care. You would even say he looked thrilled. You couldn't understand why.
As was to be expected you had been spending a lot of more time with Linhardt. Whenever you had to sleep he was there. He made you feel safe. He made you feel loved.
Love?
Wait, where had that come from?
You shook your head and put away the thought. You needed to focus on the situation at hand.
You sat on Linhardt's bed swinging your legs back and forth, feeling uncomfortable.
Linhardt looked tired and you couldn't help but feel it was your fault. He had stayed awake while you slept.
Even now he insisted you get rest, even while you insisted he needed rest more than you.
He stood in front of you, arms crossed, the look on his face confirmed your worries that you would not be convincing him.
"This is ridiculous Lin, I have been sleeping enough. It is you who needs to rest now." you tried.
He shook his head, "We've been over this, I'm not-" yawn! "-sleepy."
You raised an eyebrow.
He rolled his eyes with a tired look, "We both know that's nothing new."
You crossed your arms with a huff, "Well I refuse to sleep until you get rest." you said stubbornly.
He sighed sounding resigned, "Fine."
"What?"
"Move over."
"W-what?"
He didn't look like he was kidding.
I mean you had slept close by when you were in the forest but...
This was a bed...
For some reason it made the situation feel indecent...
Linhardt stared at you expectantly.
"I-I do not know if..." You blushed brightly.
"Why? We'd only be sleeping." There was a hint of amusement in his voice.
He was right though.
Seeing no way to argue (and not really wanting to) you moved closer to the wall so Linhardt could fit on the bed.
There was barely any space between you.
You hated how much you want to hug him.
His staring made you feel self-conscious.
"Why are you smiling like that?" you asked keeping your gaze on the ceiling.
"Like what?" he asked, just as cheeky as his smile.
"Like that!"
"I don't think I understand. You might have to show me."
"You are just trying to get me to turn towards you!"
"Maybe." His smile got wider. "So will you?"
You hesitated but eventually you did just that.
Looking at his eyes you felt even more shy than before.
"Close your eyes." he said softly.
"Why...?" you felt nervous.
"Trust me?"
You did.
You closed your eyes and waited.
A small moment passed before you felt two lips upon your own.
You were sure you had died at that moment. You were sure your heart had stopped.
"Goodnight." you heard him whisper simply.
When you opened your eyes you saw his closed. He was smiling.
Your face was probably a tomato.
At least you were a happy tomato.
