Continues the story of "Princess of Almyra".

The month you spent at house Riegan went by quicker than you would have liked. You dreaded what would come next. You didn't tell anyone about your uneasiness, of course.

It was your decision to come here and you would prove that you could handle whatever this decision brings your way.

Right now you stood outside the house, well, mansion might be a better way to describe it, where you had be staying with you brother and grandfather. You needed to get some fresh air, blow off some steam and probably blow a few things up. But you refused to do that last one; proving your brother right would only worsen your already foul mood.

You held onto the hilt of your sword tightly, making your knuckles turn white, and you swung it at a tree, stopping just short of it's trunk.

You let out an annoyed sigh and turned around, only to be immediately greeted by your brother's upside down smirk.

"I see someone is a little tense." Claude said as he hung upside-down from a wall-like stone that stood in the garden.

"I'm pretty sure that stone is supposed to hold art," you said, getting closer and pointing to the carvings, "not idiots."

"Tsk! Always so rude." your brother responded, lightly shaking his head in mock disapproval. "Seriously, no respect for your elders."

As soon as he finished, you quickly pointed the blade of the your sword at his face, leaving it mere millimeters from his nose, "Keep talking and I'll show you just how rude I can be." you said without a hint of emotion.

You lowered your weapon and went past the stone towards the entrance to your temporary home. Your walking slowed when you heard your brother touch the ground and stopped completely when you heard him speak.

"Since when can you use a sword?" he sounded more worried than curious.

"Since three weeks ago." you still didn't smile, even though you were sure his next reaction would be amusing.

"Three weeks?! Are you insane? You could have killed me just now!" Claude said in a slight panic.

"But I didn't; are we done here?" You just wanted to be left alone today.

"No, no. First I'm going to need you to explain to me why you suddenly decided to star swinging swords around. We've both learnt how to shoot a bow since we were little and you somehow became obsessed with fire magic; where do swords come into play?" he said, genuinely wanting an answer.

You just shrugged and turned to go inside.

"Y/N."

Claude's voice was serious. He was worried. And whatever you were holding inside you, finally got loose.

"I'm anxious, okay?" you said, your voice raising an octave; your sword falling to the ground where it lay forgotten.

"Why haven't you talked to me?" Claude got closer to you and you instinctively stepped further away crossing your arms over your chest.

"What? So you can send me back to Almyra? Ha, give me a break." Tears burned in your eyes, but you wouldn't let them fall. You refused to let them fall.

"I wouldn't..." But he knew that was a lie. He gathered his thoughts and continued. "Three weeks ago... That's when we met with House Gloucester, isn't it?"

You remained silent and unmoving, but he could still tell.

"That Lorenz guy said something to you, didn't he? Whatever came out of his mouth was undoubtedly complete garbage, you shouldn't let it get to you." Claude tried to remain calm for your sake, but you could see he was angry.
