Takes place after "Oops."

.

Ok, so you told him.

Khalid was not amused.

He was apparently under the impression that you were still a child.

"Khal--"

He glared.

"Claude. I'm not a kid. You have no say in this!"

"That is where you are mistaken. You promised me any boy you liked could be approved by me. And I don't approve." he answered smugly.

"I was 5 when I said that! It doesn't count." you exclaimed.

"Of course it counts!"

"Why?!"

"Because I say it does!"

You crossed your arms and stared at him with raised eyebrows.

He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Ok," he said finally, "that may have been a bit uncalled for..."

"You think?"

"Can you blame me for being overprotective? When you first got here you were terrified of people, and now you want to date one! It's way too much of a change."

You shook your head, "It's not like it happened suddenly. You never have a problem when I hang out with Raphael, why is Felix any different?"

"Raphael is just like big brother number two for you. Felix on the other hand--"

"--is a nice guy." you interrupted, "Besides," you said frowning, "I made a complete fool off myself already, there's no way he's interested."

"Yeah, that was kind of stupid. Ow!" You punched your brother's arm.

You pouted and looked off to the side.

Khalid sighed, "Hey, if he really means this much to you I'll back off. And I'm sure your little 'kiss and run' was more adorable than it was embarrassing."

"Really?"

"Really."

You threw your arms around his shoulders in excitement, "Best. Big brother. Ever!"

"Yeah, I know. I'm the best. Ow!"

.

You waited at the Training Grounds. I mean, where else were you expected to run into him without having to ask around.

You tried to prep yourself for the encounter. You wanted to make sure you could act like a normal person.

You sat against a wall and when you saw him arrive your heart nearly leaped out of your chest. You stood up and tried to act cool leaning on the wall.

Felix got closer and you lost your balance. Only regaining it just in time to not fall on your face.

"Hey." he said once he was infront of you, "We need to talk."

You bit your lip and tried not to panic, "Okay... About?"

As if you didn't know.

"Your, uh, really... Really good with sword fighting and..." he trailed off looking very uncomfortable.

"Uh, thanks?..."

"What I'm trying to say is... you fight good... Um..." Felix was tripping over his words continuously.

"Uh, Felix?...Are you alright?" you asked confused.

He sighed.

"Look!" he said, slamming a hand next to your head on the wall, startling you a bit, "I'm not good at this whole romantic thing. If you were hoping for something like that you've got the wrong guy." he looked away for a moment with a small frown, "But I like you."

You smiled and moved forward to kiss his cheek, "I like you too."

He blushed and his frown deepened for a small moment just before it became a small smile.

"You missed."

He moved forward and kissed you on the lips.

He caught you off guard, but it was the best first kiss you could have asked for. A surprisingly sweet moment courtesy of Felix.

"Woo! Way to go Felix!"

Felix and you parted and looked towards the intruder.

"SYLVAIN!"

Sylvain ran out, closely followed by Felix.

You sat down again and smiled to yourself,  giggling.
