Sophie didn't know what do or how to start. She didn't know anything, not the boy's name, family, ability, age, nothing. This was off to a bad start already. (A/N I wasn't gonna make it easy, Soph!)
"Can I come in?" asked the familiar, accented voice of Fitz Vacker, Biana's brother. He opened the door and entered, without even waiting for an answer, and sat on the edge of Sophie's bed.
He gazed at her worriedly. "Forkle told me you were kinda down today."
"Uh, yeah, a little I guess," Sophie was sure that Biana sent him after she shooed her and Dex away.
Fitz glanced at her notebook. Sophie had scrawled the words "Finding the boy" at the top of the page.
"Who's 'the boy'?" he asked, with a hint of jealousy.
" Oh, no one," replied Sophie, she quickly shut her notebook and shoved it under her blanket. For some reason she didn't want anyone to know about the mysterious boy. Quickly changing the subject, Sophie asked Fitz what brought him here.
"To tell you the truth, I really don't know. Biana just shoved me out of the house and told me to go talk to you. I don't mind, it's good to get out of the house, away from Biana, and see you."
"Why thank you, I am quite interesting, am I not?"
" Uh huh, anyways, I'm hungry. Do you have anything? I didn't have lunch yet and Biana probably won't let me in the house unless I have some tea with you."
Sophie left for the kitchen, and came back with two platefuls of Mallowmelt. (Mallowmelt sounds like dessert heaven, but can you imagine how many calories are in that thing?)
As the two of them dug into their dessert, Sophie told Fitz about how she would finally be able to attend Foxfire, the most prestigious school for elves (and, coincidentally, named after a glowing fungus lmao). Sophie had passed the entrance exam, but Mr. Forkle had her homeschooled for safety reasons. Now, she could meet others her age, who were mentally sane (unlike Dex and Biana). Maybe her mentors would help her train further into her abilities (Yeah Soph that's the mentors JOB—)

sorry sudden ending again. I kinda just wanted to end it cuz I REALLY hate this chapter.
And NOT just because Fitz is in it. It's so boring smh.
hoped you liked it.
actually I don't
there's no reason to like it
next chapter will be better
probably-
Also im gonna do something called "Question of the Chapter"So today's QOTC is...............
WHO'S YOUR LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER OF THE SERIES AND WHY?
(Don't ask me why I put that in all caps)
my least character of the series is Fitz, and before you go all "U don't like him cuz ur a Sokeefe shipper" that isn't the only reason. Sophie was in a toxic relationship when she was dating Fitz in the Keeper series. Fitz was overprotective, and he would get angry/jealous whenever he saw Sophie hanging out with Keefe. It wasn't like Keefe was trying to make a move on Sophie, for the most part, he was just being a good friend and helping her out, which was something FITZ should have been doing since he was supposed to be the caring boyfriend. Instead, he's the exact opposite, making Sophie nervous and scared whenever she saw him. Fitz has some serious anger ISSUES and I think that Keefe is a much better match for Sophie. #FitzelierForever
lol that's a lot
k bai now <3
