Jaidah P.O.V

"Answer the phone." I exaggerated. Nobody was answering their phone & I was still here at skyzone.

"I guess I really have to walk." I sighed as I exit skyzone. It was getting dark out & I was scared to walk alone.

I started walking down a dark street with the help of my flashlight so it wouldn't be so dark. Cars rolled past & the street lights were now on. I had no clue where I was going but it seemed far from skyzone.

"You need a lift young lady?" A car pulled beside me.

"No sir. I'm ok." I told him. I wasn't ok but one thing my parents taught me was to not trust strangers.

I started walking again & he slowly followed. I began to speed up but he matched my pace.

I huffed turning around, "what the fuck you want from me?"

"Let's see." He tapped his chin, "you got a pussy."

"I-I-please." I breathed stepping back.

"Give me what I want." He hopped out the car.

I shook my head 'no' before sprinting down the street. I kept running until I came across a gas station.

"HELP!"

"What's wrong?" a lady rushed to me.

"A man is chasing me. Please help." I panicked.

"You're okay now." she shushed me.

I can't believe I almost got raped.

"Where do you live? I'll take you home."

*knock knock*

"I'm coming stop knocking, damn." I hissed opening the door.

"Where's jai?" I asked chris as he laid royalty on the couch.

"I don't know. I left her at skyzone." he shrugged.

The hell!!!

"What you mean you left her at skyzone?"

"Exactly what I said." he approached the door.

I blocked his way, " you got me so fucked up yo. Go get my child."

"We made an agreement that I don't come around unless she need me & she haven't called yet."

"THATS YO FUCKING CHILD. YOU LEFT HER WITH NO GUARDIAN. SHES THIRTEEN CHRIS WHAT THE HELL WRONG WITH YOU." I raised my voice.

"DON'T YELL AT ME! SHE THE ONE ACTING LIKE SHE DON'T NEED MY PROTECTION SO SHE GONE LEARN THE HARD WAY." He hollered.

"You really dumb." I laughed angrily, "of course she needs yo protection. You're her FATHER chris! Why can't you understand that."

"I'm done with this conversation." he pushed me aside.

"BYE!" he left.

"Daddy?" Royalty rubbed her eyes.

"Daddies gone baby lets get you to bed." I picked her up.

Jaidah P.O.V

"Do you want to stop at the store for some water or something?" she asked me as we drove pass a corner store.

"I'm g-g-ood I just w-ant to go h-ome." I shook. I was still in shock at the thought that I could've been raped.

"It's okay sweetie. He can't hurt you." she rubbed my shoulder in a way to comfort me. 

I nodded, "okay"

"Is this your house?" she asked pulling in front of the driveway.

"Yes." I smiled politely.

"Wow. It's luxurious." she commented.

"Thank you for helping me."

"No problem baby. Be careful out here angel."

"I will." I replied getting out the car.

I walked up to the porch & knocked softly on the door.

"Who is it?"I heard my mom ask.

"It's me ma."

She opened the door shocked to see me, "thank god."

"How did you get home?" she closed the door.

"A lady at a gas station drove me." I say dryly.

"You walked to a gas station?"

"More like ran." I mumbled climbing the stairs.

"What?" she asked trailing me.

"Where's royalty?" I needed to change the subject.

"In your bed."

"Okay. Where did chris go?"

"I don't know & don't care. I can't believe he did that to you."

"Me either." I responded entering my room.

I climbed right in bed next to royalty. I was too tired to take my clothes off. I pulled royalty close to me & cried into her hair.

I can't believe I was almost raped. Tonight was the scariest experience of my life.
