Jaidah P.O.V

Its been 3 days since my dad been back at home & I can say that he has improved a lot.

"So how was therapy?" I ask, i've been waiting for the right time to ask him & I guess that's now.

"It was boring in the beginning." he say, "but after a while it became enjoyable."

I snort, "enjoyable?"

"Yeah." he smiles, "I met a girl."

My jaw drops in surprise, "a girl?"

"That's what I just said." he states.

"Was it that pretty women...." I pause, I couldn't think of her name.

he raises a brow, "Robyn?"

"Yeah her." I snap my finger, what type of name is that...!

he laughs shaking his head, "you think the girl is robyn?"

I mutter, "yes."

"Wow." he saids, "I would never."

I gasp, "she isn't ugly."

"I never said she was ugly." he shrugs, "she just isn't my type & I see her more as a sister."

"Well who is it?" I roll my eyes, impatiently.

"Her names laila." he continues, "she's amazing."

hmm, "is she prettier than robyn?"

I don't know why but I feel like they would really click.

"Duh." he brags, "she's beyond gorgeous."

I smack my teeth, "on a rate of 1-10, what is she?"

"Damn." he rub his hands together, "she broke my scale."

I huff, "what if she's one of those pretty psycho girls?"

"Naw." he shakes his head, "I spent a week locked up with her & she doesn't seem like the crazy type."

"Does she feel the same way about you?" I blurt out.

"I don't think so." he trial on, "she see me as her bestfriend."

I smirk, "looks like someone is stuck in the friends zone."

"Enough of my talk." he roll his eyes, "what have I missed in your life you know, since you didn't write?"

I instantly felt guilt wash over me, "I'm so sorry for not writing you it's just.. everything was so complicated."

"You straight." he announce, "now get on with it."

Chris P.O.V

"There's not much to tell." she tells me, "you didn't miss out on anything."

"Ok." I nod, "just inform me on what was going on."

"Ummm." she stares into space, "oh. we found out that ma was pregnant."

"What!" I gasp, "pregnant!"

"Chill dad." she said, calmy. "Yes."

"When did she tell you?" I asked, fully alert.

"She told me a month ago."

"Does mike know?" I intrude.

she shakes her head, "no. she wants it to be a surprise."

It's gone be a surprise alright.

"Did she plan on telling me...?" I ask, but I instantly regretted it.

"No, she said that it was no reason to tell you when the baby isn't your concern."

I nod, understanding. "She got a point."

"That's really all though."

"Mmk."
