1 week of therapy... 4th day of the hole..

Robyn P.O.V

"Did you miss me?" I ask chris, unlocking the door to the hole.

"To be honest." he steps out, "yes."

I smile, "I miss you too."

"Where you been?" he follows behind me, "you never came to visit me."

I gasp, "I forgot to come see you."

"Wow." he climbs the last step, "how can you forget about your own client?"

"I've been dealing with a lot at home & here at work too." I sigh, tired.

"mmmm." he grunts, "I guess I believe you."

I turn to face him, "how many times do I have to tell you that I don't lie to you?"

"I don't know." he rubs his hand through his hair, "I've been lied to so much ion know what the truth is."

"The truth is right infront of you." I say, trailing the last bit of stairs.

"I'm tired of these stairs." he huffs, "I ain't walking back down there."

"You've only been here for a week & a half & you already out of shape." I laugh.

"Naw shawty." he rubs his belly, "this skinny nigga problems."

I snorted, "no it's not."

"whatever." he dismiss the convo, "where are we going?"

"To the office."

"Why?"

"Your family has been emailing you pictures of how your girls are doing." we reach the office door.

"Wow." he rub his temples, "I haven't talked to them in a while."

"I wonder why.." I trail off, silently.

"Can we go in now?" he ask, irritated with my patients.

"Yes." we walk through the door, greeting everyone with a 'hello' before continuing to walk.

"Wheres my mail?" he looks around for his name, "nevermind."

"You found it?" I turn to him as he examined all the mail he has, "nevermind."

chris took a seat across the table from me as he looked through photos of his daughter, royalty.

Chris P.O.V

"I've been missing so much back home." I say, aloud.

"Yeah?" robyn ask, "like what?"

"My baby royalty lost another tooth." I lean over the table, showing her the picture.

Look who lost another tooth.. royaltyyyy!! The letter read.

"She's getting so big." robyn smile, "& she's only 5."

"I know right." I skip through more pictures, "time flies by fast."

"I'm sorry to ask but is there any of jai?"

I continue searching through the photos but neither one was from jai, "nope."

"Damn." robyn mumbled, "I thought she'll come around by now."

I shook my head, "Jai is a very closed off person when it comes to her emotions so I expected this."

"Maybe she just needs time." robyn throw out, "I mean like, all girls does this."

"How much time does she need?" I ask, seriously, "I've been giving her all her life & that time still ain't enough."

"Maybe in 2 months everything will change." she assume, "she probably just wants to accept reality as is."

"I just hope after this I can fix everything permanently." I scoot my chair from the table, "I'm done looking through mail."

"Back to the hole you go then." she escorts me out.

I can't wait til these 2 months over so I can finally get my babygirl back.
