[Ok Idk what to to say to the horse (kai) either he or it, in my country we dont call a horse who you're close with an it but in english classes I've learned I'm suppose to but it's a habit to call the horse he/she to me so ... just overlook that if I ended up calling it .. he]

Kyungsoo walked along the sand as the waves kept coming only stopping bits before his feet. He had held his shoes in hand to feel the sand in between his toes . It had still been warm from the sun earlier today and at first it had hurt him to stand on it but by now he had gotten used to it as it had probably also cooled down a little.
There was chilly wind that had made him regret he hadnt taken a jacket with him.
Kai huffed shaking its head as it stepped away from the water a little hurried making him turn around to it with a laugh ,, do not tell me you are afraid of water "
He had originally stepped off the horse thinking it would stay there and wait for him but instead. Kai had followed him as he walked along the beach.
He didnt mind. It made him feel less lonely.
He continued taking steps while looking at the last bits of the sunset.
He remembered looking at it sometimes when he would go close to the surface late... it hadnt been like anyone cared.
Or like he had. If anything had caught or killed him he wouldve been fine with it at that time.
Yet these thoughts werent the reason for why he had went against what everyone always said and talked about. It was because the warnings have caught his interest.
When others would say they didnt want talk about these stories, kyungsoo would've swam closer to listen to more.
He was interested in the monsters by the surface and he was interested in the poisonous light

Curiosity is what had ruined his life.
His eyes traveled down to the scars on his hands when the sun had now been gone only leaving little discoloured clouds behind as it was getting darker and darker.

He rose his eyes again recognizing the voice as he only looked at the water again in annoyance.
,, stop calling me that "
the noise of the sand being stepped in behind him was making him slow down as he realized jongin was approaching and kai poked his back with his snout as if to tell him to stop instead of just slowing down.
,, arent you a loyal boy " tho the prince had said that while patting kais neck there was a tiny bit of sarcasm in it.
,, kyungsoo "
He crossed his arms as he had finally stopped because of kai but wasnt looking at jongin, who then stepped to be in front of him and block the way.
,, I'm sorry,.. lady solin wanted me to stay by her side because she couldnt sleep "
Kyungsoo didnt want to answer but did anyway a little annoyed making sure his voice would show it.

He looked down before back up to see the siren have a distant look at the sea.
