Chapter 46 : The Dagger in hand

He felt like his heart had stopped when he found himself free falling through the air with nothing to hold onto or grabb, it was a feeling he had never experienced before and it left him breathless.

As he finally spotted the ground coming closer through the dirt cloud, jongins hands had suddenly appeard to pull him closer and turn him around.

It was loud when jongins body met the ground with kyungsoo on top of him, the echo of the impact ringing through the cave, lit up by Crystal's on the walls as the prince quickly turned them so that he could lean over and shield the siren when stones and earth followed to fall onto his back as he spotted kyungsoos closed eyes

He was breathing heavy when it finally stopped raining dirt and stones as he moved to exhale himself as he sat back
,, kyungsoo " he called getting to his side instead, Moving the sirens head to face him as he was slowly regaining consciousness again.
,, are you alright? "

The other swallowed moving jongins hands away as he sat up slowly holding onto his hurting arm to rubbing it ,, y-yes .. what about you ? what happened ?"

The taller got up to stand, holding onto his side with with a grimace at the ache of a couple new bruises he could tell. he looked around waving a hand before his face because of the still remaining dirt cloud around them.

Kyungsoo cough, getting up aswell when the prince spoke.
,, seems like we landed in some sort of cave "

,, oh really.. how did you figure that out " kyungsoo rolled his eyes still coughing lightly ,, you must be some sort of a genius "

,, well what else do you want to hear from me ?" He threw his hands up turning to him.

,, maybe how it is possible that we landed here? " the siren looked around
,, and how to get out again.. I do not like caves.. "

,, well,.. theres this thing called gravity-"
Kyungsoo cut him off as he kicked him lightly to his shin as he smirked when it caused him to stumble a little and fall onto his bottom, causing another little dirt cloud.

The siren cough as he laughed waving his hand in Front of him to see through the dirt cloud aswell when he wanted to apologize as he helped him up but just as He was about to say something the ground underneath them shock a little.
,, jongin ?"

The prince looked equally as perplexed as they looked at each other when it shock again almost as if something big was making it's way toward them.

Jongin was the first to turn as he looked at where the cave continued.
,, oh no .. " he mumbled more to himself then the other when he mentally prayed for him to be mistaken about the first thing that came to his mind.

,, what ? No what ?"
Kyungsoo frowned getting closer as he looked where the prince looked to confused, before jongin took a hold of his arm slowly backing away from that direction where it had come from. As he muttered quietly.
,, I.. I think it's a cyclops "

,, c-cylop ? what ? What is that "
He questioned looking in between the prince and the direction they were trying to get away from in a rushed pace yet it seemed as if jongin was trying to make it as quiet as possible.

,, they're shorter than giants, they have a third eye on their forehead, and are always ... always hungry. "

Kyungsoo swallowed as the steps suddenly became faster and jongins hold on his arm tightened when he started running into the opposite direction.
