Change Dress

But you know what? Breaking up with him is very futile for the past years. Because since the day we broke up, he never stop pursuing me. Even until now. He still treated me as his girlfriend and that we never broke up. Like we're still together.

Ganito rin ang ginagawa niya sa akin no'ng mga break up namin noon. He keeps on pursuing until I gave up and take him again.

But right now, ayoko na talaga munang makipagrelasyon sa kanya. His sweetness is very tempting and his hotness is very irresistible all the damn time but my self control is better. Well, at least... trying to be better.

"What are you doing here?" tanong ko kay Lucas nang makita ko siyang nasa labas ng bahay, matiyagang nag-aabang.

Umalis siya mula sa pagkakasandal sa kotse at nilapitan ako. He reached my arm gently and dropped his head to plant a soft kiss on my cheek. Bahagya akong umiwas. He smiled at me.

"Good morning," he greeted sweetly.

"Anong ginagawa mo rito?"

Namulsa siya. "I'll send you to the tower."

Gusto ko siyang tanungin kong paano niya nalamang may photoshoot ako sa tower ngayon pero huwag na lang. He's Engr. Luther Cairus Ponteras and he can always find ways if he likes to.

"Susunduin ako ni Tito,"

"I already tell him I'm gonna fetch you,"

Nagulat ako. The heck? Paano mo ako pinabayaan ng ganito, Tito?

"We'll, thank you for the offer but I can tell our driver to send me–"

"I saw your driver sending your parents to work. Mamaya pa raw makakabalik," aniya sabay sulyap sa kanyang wrist watch. "And you'll be late for sure,"

Napapikit na lamang ako nang mariin sa inis. Nag-isip pa ako ng ibang palusot pero alam ko ring hindi niya ako titigilan hanggang sa makasakay ako sa kanya. I look at my wrist watch and cursed silently when I'm going late already. Kapag nakipagtalo pa ako, I'm sure mahuhuli na talaga ako.

Damn you, Lucas!

He smirked when I immediately went inside the car but when I settled in the backseat, he groaned.

"Sit in the front seat. I'm not your driver, baby."

Hearing that endearment again sends shiver to my spine. Tumikhim ako.

"What? You're here to fetch me, right? Hindi ba't parang driver na rin 'yon?"

"Sit in the front seat, please. Sige na, huwag na tayong magtalo."

"Ayaw mo pa lang nagtatalo tayo, e di, magmaneho ka na riyan. Hurry up! I'm getting late already,"

He stared at me. Humalukipkip ako. Sa huli'y napabuntong-hininga na lang siya at wala ng magawa kundi ang ihatid na ako.

Tahimik kami buong byahe. Tiningnan ko siya at nakitang tulala siya sa kalsada, malalim ang iniisip. His left elbow rested on the window while his hand is playing with his lips. He looks adorably serious and intense.

Hindi ko na lang pinuna iyon. I immediately clicked my seat belt out of my body the moment he parked his car in the tower's parking lot. Lumabas agad siya ng sasakyan, umikot at saka pinagbuksan ako.

I arranged the part of my dress that's ruffling. "Thanks,"

Hindi ko tinanggap ang kamay niya. Bringing my purse with me, I walked straight. Nagulat na lang ako nang hulihin niya ang aking braso.
