I can't help but keep smiling like an idiot. Hindi ko na yata kayang bigyan pa ng pansin ang pamamanhid ng aking mukha. I am so happy. It doesn't matter to me what do I look now.

"I've list here all the medicines he need to take so that the swollening will subdue and the scratches will be treated fastly. Take care always of your health," anang doctor ng dalhin ako ni Shaireen sa hospital.

Ayoko na sana kasi hindi na naman kailangan. Of course I'm already fine. I'm perfectly fine. Ngiting-ngiti ako sa kaloob-looban ko at parang gusto kong pasalamatan si Rod sa panununtok sa akin. I benefitted a lot of luck.

Pero ayoko rin naman sa school clinic. Paniguradong mababalitaan na naman iyon ng iba at makalat.

"Salamat po, doc." my baby said softly and I can't help but to stare at her. She's so amazing all the time but she's much more amazing today.

"Huwag mong kalimutan ang mga bilin ko, ha, hijo? Oblige so that you will heal fastly,"

"Thanks, doc."

"I'll go ahead."

Nang iwan kami ng doctor ay agad akong yumakap sa beywang ni Shaireen. She's reading the list of the medicines the doctor gave her when I did that.

"What does it say?" I asked softly kahit naman talaga ako interesado roon. Gusto ko lang talaga magparamdam.

She looked at me. "Mostly are ointment and some tablets. Kumusta ang pakiramdam mo?"

"I'm fine."

Umusog siya papalapit sa akin. "Anong plano mo kay Rod ngayon?"

"Nothing,"

Napatitig siya sa akin. Pumungay ang mga mata ko.

"But he just beated you, Lucas."

"So? It's okay. I have you anyway,"

Huminga siya nang malalim. "He deserves some punishment,"

"I'm not up to that, unless kung ikaw ang dinahas at nasaktan. It's fine. He's hurting right now and believe me, that's the best punishment,"

Natahimik siya. I shifted on my seat and pulled her closer to me. Kita sa kanya ang maraming iniisip.

"What's the problem?"

"Uh-uh, what about it? Babawiin mo?" I smirked. As if I'll let her anyway.

"Pwede bang... ilihim muna natin 'to?"

My eyebrows furrowed grumpily. I'm not convinced. So what if they'll judge and furious? They opinion doesn't useful to me. This is my life. I have my own definition of my beliefs.
