Chapter 37

Girlfriend Again

Akala ko ay ayos na pero nanatiling tahimik si Lucas habang nagmamaneho pabalik sa apartment ko. When he parked his car, he looked at me. Naninimbang ang titig.

"I'll send you 'till your room. Is it okay?" he asked.

He's so gentle and very soft tonight. My heart suddenly hurts. Seeing him looking strong even if emotionally weak pained my heart so much.

He never feels on pursuing me even if I broke up with him many times already. That's why I know his love for me is not shallow. It's deeper more than I think it is. He loves me but I know he can still love me more. He won't get tried of raining me love I needed in this life.

I nodded. Tumango rin siya at sinabayan na ako sa pagpasok.

We remained silent in the elevator. He still looked calm but sad. Pagod na nakatingin lang sa harapan at malalim ang iniisip.

Hinatid niya ako sa room. I faced him after I swiped my card. Nahuli ko siyang nakatitig sa akin habang nakapamulsa. We stared each other for a quite while before he sighed and nodded at me.

"Get in now. You look tired," he asked gently.

Hindi ako sumunod.

"Go inside, baby. Rest now, please."

Hindi ko alam kung bakit sumakit ang dibdib ko roon. Naiiyak na naman ako. Napakasensitibo ko talaga pagkadating sa kanya. Ang bilis-bilis kong masaktan.

"C-Can you stay for a while?" tanong ko.

Tumitig siya sa akin. He looked confused. Nagpatuloy ako.

"I missed eating your foods. Cook for me?"

Nagulat ko yata siya. Pero kalauna'y pumayag na rin at pumasok sa room ko.

He removed his coat. Maayos niya iyong inayos sa sofa at pumunta ng kusina. I followed him there. Tiningnan niya ang kaunting pagkain ko sa ref pagkatapos ay natigilan siya.

"Uhm, maybe we can ask for room service. Are you really hungry?" tanong niya.

Nang hindi ako sumagot ay nilingon niya ako. I know I don't have groceries in here. I just really want him to stay for a while. Nakatitig lamang ako sa kanya habang naghahanap siya ng pwedeng lutuin.

"Or can you wait for me? Bibili lang ako ng mga sangkap," aniya.

Nang hindi pa rin ako umimik ay tumitig na siya sa akin. My lips started shivering. I don't know why I want him to feel better right now.

"I'm still fixing something on me. I don't want to ask help and be dependent to you because I want to deal this in my own. While I'm trying to fight on this, will you wait for me?" marahan kong panlulugod sa kanya.

Gulat siyang napatitig sa akin. I sighed as my heart hurt more.

"I promise to return to you after dealing this. Please be more patient. Don't you dare unlove me..."

Mabilis ang lahat. Namalayan ko na lang na nagmartsa na siya papalapit sa akin at hinila ang buhok ko saka mapusok na hinalikan ang aking labi. His arm encircled around my waist and grabbed it closer to him. He angled his head and attacked my lips with aggressive kisses.

Halos hindi ako makahinga. The kiss is so different of how he rains me kisses way back. This is full of longing, every flick of his tongue is unforgiving. His lips were soft but merciless, walang parte sa labi ko ang pinalampas niya.
