Storm2Shadows requested I make a chapter on the Panic! At The Disco songs the characters embody, so I actually listened to them/him for the first time and was blown away! Yes, obviously I've been a longtime fan of I Write Sins Not Tragedies, I am a 00's kid after all, but I've never actually known that much about Brendan Urie and his music apart from 1) he collaborated with Taylor Swift last year and 2) he hates open doors (geddit?). I haven't listened to everything he's ever made because that would take much longer than anticipated, but after watching quite a handful of his content I have two opinions: I am definitely listening to him again, and how come Disney hired an LGBT+ man who primarily sings about sex, drugs, and drinking to sing a main song from Frozen when they're against mostly everything I just said? 🤔 guess we shall never know...

Cat: Kaleidoscope Eyes. She's the sort of person who will always look at you like you're her favourite person in the world, and she always looks at the world in a positive light. She's forgiving and lighthearted, forever earnest and sweet and someone you can depend on to see the best in you. Favourite lyric: Kaleidoscope eyes, sparkle at the world.

Robbie: Nine In The Afternoon. He's lighthearted, happy, and with the slight hint of existential dread this song puts out. Robbie likes to remember back to the good old times when he was an adorable naive little kid, and to the times when everyone was happy and laughing and playful. He especially likes to do this when Jade is shouting about shopping prices. Favourite lyric: Your eyes are the size of the moon/You could cuz you can so you do.

Beck: High Hopes. No matter what, who, or when, Beck has always been focused on making his career. He knows it's hard to break into this industry with performers of all sorts milling around shouting into the void, but he's still never given up hope, just like his mama told him to. Favourits lyric: Didn't have a dime but I always had a vision/Had to have high high hopes.

André: Dancing's Not A Crime. André is a dancer, and an expressive creative, and goes wherever he pleases with a bouncy attitude and sick moves. He especially loves dancing and being with others because he's a people person, and thrives off of people's energy and love toward him. It's just how he's wired. Favourite lyric: I'm a moonwalker/I'm like MJ up in the clouds.

Jade: Girls/Girls/Boys. I mean, there are so many P!ATD songs that describe Jade, but this might just be the most accurate. Facts are facts, Jade's hella gay, and this girl loves girls and boys. Additionally, the odd electronic tune is exactly her style, she can hit all the high and low notes in the song, and just like Brendan in the music video, she wouldn't hesitate to make such a bold choice as to film the vid naked.

Tori: Victorious (see what I did there?). Even though Tori is generally and widely considered not as good an actor or singer as her peers (sorry Tori stans but facts are indeed facts), the world will praise her for her career possibly more than the others will get and she will be congratulated for doing anything, no matter how out of control younger stars usually become. Favourite lyric: Oh we gotta turn up the crazy/Livin like a washed up celebrity.
