Cat: one day in December you walk into Hollywood Arts and immediately notice its lack of energy and volume - where is everyone? You just shrug it off and go to Sikowitz's classroom, and unpack your stationary when you feel a hard round object thrown at you, and you duck quickly. Are we under attack? You whizz your head round in the direction of the flying object when another flies past your head from behind the stage curtains. You go to pick it up, and realise it's a Christmas bauble. Confused you don't catch another bauble thumbing you on the head, which drives you to run to the curtains and fling them open to see Cat and Sikowitz with armfuls of baubles ready to throw at whoever comes inside the classroom. But before you can begin to scold them about how dangerous it is, Sinjin rushes through the room door and hurls a yummy candy cane at you! It slaps you in the cheek and as Sinjin disappears down the corridor Cat and Sikowitz laugh at you, until they clock your angered face and their laughter dies down, both looking as guilty as each other. You stare at them in tense silence for a couple seconds, before picking up the candy cane and slapping Cat across the face with it! Cat gasps in laughter and throws another bauble at you, Sikowitz joining in, and soon you're also involved in the school-wide Christmas fight; every type of non-threatening holiday decoration was whizzing through the air accompanied by your friend yelling in glee, and you laugh at how much fun Christmas at Hollywood Arts is.
Beck: one day you and Beck decide to give back for Christmas and sort through all of your stuff and collect several huge bags of various gadgets and toys and things; you two wrap them all up and take down to the local homeless shelter. Before you go through the door however you stop, think, and look Beck up and down. He asks you what's wrong and you say... you think he should wear a Santa costume for the kids! His face breaks into his easy smile and after you pack everything into Beck's truck he drives you both to a costume shop and manages to charm his way into renting the last Father Christmas costume. All settled into his Santa suit you take the wheel and drive to the shelter and inform the volunteers of your plan, and they readily agree and get all the people gathered in the large food hall. You come through first with the huge cart of presents and they all gasp - and when Beck comes in dressed as Santa all the children scream and run to him, butting into him with such a collective force he nearly fell over! You and the volunteers laugh as he steadies himself, then you both start giving out presents for everyone in the room. You pass a present that you secretly know used to be your electric guitar (you normally play acoustic now) to an old man, and when he opens it the smile he gives to you makes you glad that people around the world make people feel this way, not just at Christmas but every day somewhere in the world.
Tori: for your last date before Christmas Day you and Tori decided to have a movie night consisting entirely of Christmas films. You laugh as you watch The Muppets Christmas Carol, you both clutch each other staring in horror as Krampus plays, and you cry as George Bailey realises the true meaning of Christmas. When you finish Tori's long list of DVDs you look out an artificially frosted window and tell her with surprise that it's dark and snowing outside. She gasps then insists you can't walk home in that weather, and so she goes upstairs then returns minutes later with a pile of blankets and dumps them on one of the couches. You smile gratefully, and she bids you goodnight then trots upstairs while you arrange your blankets and get to sleep.
Jade: you get given a bonus in your allowance for Christmas so you decide to take Jade shopping, and she grudgingly agrees but secretly is glad you asked her and not anyone else. You flit through charity shops window shopping until Jade yells and points out a display mannequin. On the mannequin is a beautiful navy blue gown with shrug shoulder straps and silver sequins round the hems and waistband, and Jade asks excitedly if you can buy it for her. Seeing how happy she is you agree; you ask the owner if Jade can try it on and when she does it looks so amazing on her that you buy it for her on the spot. With the dress neatly folded in a paper bag, when you get outside Jade hugs you, then quickly retracts and walks very proper. Beside her you smile - so she does have emotions, but only at Christmas it seems.
Robbie: Robbie one day asks you to come round his grandmother's house with him to help her decorate her rooms for Christmas, and as you had nothing better to do you agreed. On the way there he warned you that his grandmother was a little... loud, but you didn't think anything of it until the front door opened and out came a shrivelled old woman who immediately pointed a finger at your hair and said that no person has hair that blonde unless professionally coloured so how much do you spend on it? And then you realised - not loud mouth, loud personality. This was further proved when she kept pushing her grandson around and ordering him to perform tasks he couldn't possibly do such as lift heavy boxes from her attic, so you step in and graciously said you'd do it. Robbie's grandmother looks at you oddly then agrees, but sends him off to pick weeds from the garden opposite to put in jars. As he opens the door he looks back at you and you mouth a 'sorry,' and he shrugs his shoulders lifelessly and does what is bidded of him. It's very clear that neither you nor his grandmother like each other as you haul down boxes of angel ornaments and she orders them to be meticulously placed in every corner of every room a half-inch away from the wall; but it's Christmas, so in order to get in the good books you just grin and bear it.
André: as André's car breaks down at the side of a small road, he slams his hands against the wheel and you pull your winter coat tighter around yourself, nuzzling the faux fur lining the hood. It's Christmas Eve, you both need to get home from the holiday cabin the gang had slept over the week at to take care of your families... and now you were stuck in a busted car in the middle of nowhere whilst outside a blizzard was just starting up. André asks for your phone and you pass it over, knowing that he knows your passcode, and you fiddle about with the ancient heater until you find that it only has stored heat for about an hour and a half. You tell him and he responds saying he's getting no signal from either of your phones, and you grumble and move closer to the heater at the centre of the controls. André gets out the car, quickly slamming the door shut so no heat could escape, opens the boot then shuts it, and returns with a bunch of blankets and rugs he tells you he keeps in case of emergencies year round. You nod understandably - his grandma turns up in his car all the time. He pulls a blanket round you and secures his own, then climbs over his seat into the back bench seats and motions for you to follow whilst flapping out a weighted rug. You climb into the back and settle yourself next to him. He lies down, gently pulling you next to him halfway on his lap, and throws the rug over the both of you. You immediately nestle into his warm chest covered with layers of badly knitted woolly sweaters and he puts his arm round you, his skin beautifully contrasting the white colour of your coat. You each pile your legs until it's a mish-mash of jeans and try to fall asleep - teeth chattering and bodies shivering, but at least a little less now.
Bonus - Sikowitz: you rattle the doors and they don't even move. Jade groans in frustration and stomps around kicking lumps of flyaway snow. André comes up to you and asks if we're really snowed into the school, and sadly you nod your head. Tori asks how long for, and suddenly Sikowitz pops out of a hallway and says that he doesn't know... but that he might know a way out. Intrigued, you follow the wacky teacher, mentioning for the others to follow whilst keeping Sikowitz's trailing multicolored coat in sight. He leads the seven of you to the highest height in the entire school, then shows you with flamboyancy a small porthole-type window that has a hinge on the top of it and snow slowly filling the bottom. You all smile widely at him - he's found a way out! Robbie goes first as he has a slim ladies figure, letting Beck wrench the window open for him then wriggling out like a fish to land on a slope of frozen snow and slide madly down to the outside cafe on the school grounds; Cat goes next, hooking herself through feetfirst as she insists it will be more fun as when you get through you're immediately rushing down; there goes Jade, then Beck, then Tori, and then André. All of them slide down without a hitch, just wriggling through with their different figures. You're last to go before Sikowitz, but hang back. Sikowitz asks you what's wrong, and you worry that you're too big to get through the small window to the outside. He pats your broad shoulders and tells you that you can try, but either way it doesn't matter; if you get out you'll be with your family, but if you can't you'll still be with your acting family. You look back and forth between the window and Sikowitz, and eventually decide you'd have more fun hanging out with your insane acting teacher drinking coconut milk and pranking everybody else, and so you two start climbing back down the stairs to see what board games there were in Lane's room.
