Michele's Point of View

I walked into Corbyn's room and pulled out my phone. I never wanted to have to call my dad unless of an emergency, but here I was dialing his number.

"Michele," he said.

"Don't be all innocent with me, when we both know you did something," I growled into the phone.

"What did I do," my dad asked.

"You knew Why Don't We was off limits for you to manage, and now you're their new manager," I said.

"I don't know what you're talking about," my dad said.

"Does the name Besson ring a bell," I asked.

"Oh, yes, I just got off the phone with him not to long ago."

"That's my fiance! You knew he was in the band!"

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't."

"You're trying every way possible to get back into my life before the wedding. Being Corbyn's manager isn't going to work. If you stop trying, maybe I'll allow back into my life. I understand why you and mom got a divorce now. You kept lying straight to her face, I swear if you start drama at my wedding, you will never have contact with me again."

I hung up and the blocked and deleted my dad's number, not wanting to see or hear him.

I walked back into the kitchen and picked up my bowl, just to set it back down again.

"Baby," Corbyn said as he saw me slide down the the counter to the floor.  I put my head in my hands.

"What happened," he asked, hugging me in his arms.

"My dad is your new manager," I said. "He broke his promise."

"Everything will be okay," Corbyn promised.
