*Skip To The Wedding Cause Why Not*

Michele's Point of View

I woke up early this morning, more ready than ever for the day ahead. I was back at mine and Sage's apartment. Melanie, Leilani, and Kora were supposed to come over soon so they could get ready and then help me get ready.

"I'm so excited," I said as I joined my twin in the kitchen.

"I know. You haven't stopped talking about today since the beginning of last week," Sage said.

"But it's my special day," I said.

"Wait, aren't Ashley, Ava, and Sydney supposed to come over too," Sage asked.

"Oh, yeah," I said. "They are. And I think Mrs. Besson, Mrs. Herron, and Mrs. Stanford are coming too with Reese and Isla."

"I always get lost at these parts," Sage said. "Who's in the wedding and what is their place?"

"So Corbyn and I are the ones getting married," I said. "You, Kora, Melanie, Leilani, Ashley, Ava, and Sydney are all bridesmaids. Daniel, Jack, Zach, Jonah, Christian, Jordan, and Tyler are the groomsmen. Isla and Reese are the flower girls. Ryan and little Robert are the ring bearers. Mr. Seavey is the reverend. Mr. Herron is givng me away. Mrs. Besson, Mrs. Herron, and Mrs. Stanford are helping us get ready since there's gonna be a lot of us trying to get ready. Mrs. Frantzich and her kids along with Mrs. Seavey and Anna are going to get the venue ready greet the guests as they arrive. Mr. Seavey and Mr. Herron will be with the boys getting ready too. And Mr. Frantzich, Mr. Besson, and M. Avery will be doing the same thing as Mrs. Frantzich and her kids, along with Mrs. Seavey and Anna."

"Okay, that was a lot," Sage said.

"Yeah I know," I said.

"Wait, so who's your maid of honor," she asked.

"I don't have one. I know it a tradition throughout the USA to have a maid of honor, but I couldn't choose one," I said.

"It's not that important, it's just a stupid tradition to see which of your friends and family you favor more. But that's not the case with you," Sage said as we finished our smoothies.

Just then the doorbell rang and in came Reese, Isla, Ava, Ashley, Sydney, Kora, Melanie, Leilani, Mrs. Besson, Mrs. Herron, and Mrs. Stanford.

I greeted them all and we all got ready for the day.

As Mrs. Besson, Mrs. Herron, and Mrs. Stanford were helping me get ready, Mrs. Besson gave me a box.

Mrs. Stanford was doing my hair as Mrs. Herron was working on my make up.

"What is it," I asked. All three had stopped what they were doing.

"Well open it," Mrs. Besson said.

I opened the purple velvet box to see the prettiest necklace ever.

"This is the necklace that made me fantasize about the wedding ring I wanted," I said.

The necklace had the same design as the wedding ring I'd always wanted. A purple heart made out of amethyst in the middle with a small orange heart on either side of the big one.

"I remember when you and Corbyn were in sixth grade," Mrs. Besson said. "It was spring break and it was all wet and rainy. We couldn't get home because the ferry wasn't going to be there for a long while and the three of us were bored."

"Sage had gone over to a friends house and you and Corbyn were already planning on going to Seattle so you guys invited me," I said.

"That's right," Mrs. Besson said. "You had gotten so tired from walking all day, but you put up with the pain for as long as you could. Once you got to you breaking point, we stopped in the middle of a jewelry shop so you could catch your breathe."

"I leaned against the window and saw this exact necklace sitting in the window on display. That was the first time I started fantasizing about my future wedding and how I wanted it to be with Corbyn," I said.

"I watched as you looked at that necklace," Mrs. Besson said. "Then when Corbyn put your arm over his shoulders and his arm under your arm to help you walk a little better. You wouldn't stop looking at him and your cheeks were flushed a light pink, but Corbyn just thought it was from the cold. As I watched the both of you,I knew one day your friendship would turn into something more. And I was right."

"But what about the necklace?"

"After Corbyn told me about the ring you wanted and showed it to me, I got Myta, Keri, Kristin, and Carrie to come with me back to Seattle," Mrs. Besson said.

"Saskia dragged us to a jewelry store," Mrs. Herron said. "She showed us all the picture she had gotten of the ring and said to look for a necklace that looked exactly like that."

"And sure enough, we found it in a far corner away from almost everything else," Mrs. Stanford said.

"When we bought the necklace, I asked the guy why it wasn't in a fancy display," Mrs. Besson said. "He said it was because it wasn't in a set. There were no matching earrings and matching ring."

Mrs. Besson handed me another purple velvet box.

As I opened the box, she said, "So I took it upon myself to get you a pair earrings to match your ring and necklace."

"We told her she was wasting all her money," Mrs. Herron said.

"Everyone except Ray doubted her," Mrs. Stanford said.

"But I had faith that they would they would be ready by today," Mrs. Besson said. "And they're here. All I needed was faith."

"Thank you so much Mrs. Besson," I said as she hugged.

"It was my pleasure, and please call me Saskia," she said. "Feel free to call us all by our first names."

The others had entered the room too. I was in my wedding dress hair and make up done. Jewelry put on. Everyone was ready.

It was time to go.
