Michele's Point of View

I woke up, hoping he'd be awake due to my dream. But he wasn't. I still hadn't seen my kids. To be honest, I haven't left the hospital for about a month straight.

As I lied next to Corbyn day after day, repeating the nickname I gave him so long ago, I thought of names for the baby I was about two and a half months pregnant with. I got an ultrasound at the hospital and found out I was expecting a baby girl. As I kept repeating his nickname I decided on naming the baby girl Bianca, only so I could call her Bean.

"Come on, Besson, please wake the hell up. I won't be able to do this without you. Please wake up just to promise me you won't let go," I said.

I lied my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat for a good five minutes.

"Come on Corbyn. Please. Wake up. For your parents. Your brother and sister. Our kids. Our soon to be new born baby. Everyone. Me. Come on Corbyn."

I placed my head back in the crook of his neck.

I realized that the only time I get up is for food and to use the bathroom. But only because I don't want to miss anything.

"Wake up, damn it. I need you to wake up."

I held his hand. Wrapped my arm around his torso. Kissed his cheek. And fell asleep.
