Claire, Luke, Lisa, John, Julie, and I were with Leilani, Carter, Maya, and Oliver.
Claire and Carter were painting. Maya, Oliver, Luke, Lisa, John, and Julie were watching a movie. And I was chatting with Leilani.
Leilani's phone went off and I joined everyone in the living room.
When Leilani joined us all in the living room, she changed the movie to a news channel.
"Today, at twelve thirty, a semi truck hit an RV containing eight people. Five have been identified as Zach Herron. Jack Avery. Daniel Seavey. Jonah Marais. and Corbyn Besson. Also known as Why Don't We. We are assuming that the other three are the sons of them. We will have more information once all eight have been through surgery," the news reporter said.
Claire and Carter were staring at the screen, hugging each other. Maya was hugging Oliver. And my four children were all looking confused.
Leilani and I looked at each other. I placed my hand on my stomach, thinking of the baby that was due in eight months.
