You danced like nobody was watching.

When in reality—everybody was watching.

In the club the good vibes flowed like a virus, but a good one. There was love in the air, all hyped up and ready to give you a good time. You were dancing alone in the middle of the dance floor; not giving a fuck about absolutely anyone or anything. The cocktails must have kicked in, because you were already beginning to move with the music, hands in the air, body moving like an uncoiling rope; eyes on fire. The joy was like a shot of adrenaline to the heart and all at once you were moving—one with the music, one with every crazy person dancing in this place.

Dazai watched you from where he was currently sitting—drinking the amber liquid. His eyes darkened; a dangerously lustful glimmer in his eyes. He was enraptured by you, unbelievably so. He was completely and utterly enticed by the way that everyone was currently looking at you; like you were a delicious meal on display. Dazai swirled the whiskey in his glass, listening to the chinking of the ice cubes, breathing in a fragrance that only years in an oak barrel could ever possibly achieve.

He looked back up at you—the lone wolf dancing in the middle of the dance floor; all eyes on you; smirking. This time, you had looked back at him; locking eyes with that bandaged man. You gazed into his soul; your eyes of liquid [E/C]; scrutinising things inside of which he could only dream of seeing in himself. To Dazai—you were a mystery. A dangerously beautiful mystery, and he was ensnared in the trap which you had set.

The club was absolutely electric tonight, everyone feeding off of the smiles and fast dancing. You could go like this all night long, feet moving to the crazy, chaotic beat like they belonged to the music. You moved in your dress like your hips were made to sway; the satin fabric catching the disco ball light that had twirled above—launching every shade of the rainbow into the darkness.

"So that's her." A familiar voice had suddenly broken Dazai out of his less-than-appropriate thoughts; drawing his attention away from you, and instead, to the man who had assumed the seat directly next to him. Dazai looked down and noticed his gloved hands first, and then his cinnamon hair; followed by his steely grey eyes. His eyes reminded Dazai of ashes and smoke blowing in the wind, coming from a fire that had burned everything down to the ground. They were intense, they were always intense, coming from the fire that burned deep within his soul. "She's definitely a firecracker, isn't she?"

And he was right. You were an elegant assassin; spinning everyone around like a revolver.

"She is." Dazai agreed wholeheartedly. "Why are you here, Chuuya?"
