"Well, I'm at a loss for words and now more than ever, I'm worried for Alexa. What is even going on in her life? And why isn't she saying anything about this? What she is saying triggered a red flag that multiplied by 10. Currently, mom and dad are still at work, and Chance and Jessica are here, I'm going to go spy on them."
It's just another Sunday and I hear Alexa, Chance, and Jessica downstairs.
"Come on! I know it's like 20 degrees outside, but you all want to skinny dip?" Jessica asked.
"I'll get hypothermia or whatever it's called." Alexa said.
"Come on! It would be fun!" Chance said.
"Ok! Fine! But, it's your fault if I get sick."
Then you hear them go outside and they must have finally went in the pool or in the lake. The winter house is right near a lake which is artificial of course. I mean, some people like to swim in the winter, but not me.
I spend the time in my room doing homework on my computer while group FaceTiming with Adrian and Cassie. It was about a half an hour later when you hear everybody come in, screaming that it was freezing cold.
"WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?"
"WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THAT?"
"I'm kind of hard after that not gonna lie."
What the freak?
They shut the door and they seem to start putting on their clothes.
"Hey, I need to get something from the bathroom on the top floor. Be right back."
I heard Alexa go up two flights of stairs and I put my AirPods in. I then went downstairs and bumped into Alexa.
"What are you doing home?"
"What wouldn't I be doing at home?"
"Just Don't get in the way of me and my friends, ok? You can get a snack, but I'm not your babysitter."
We stopped talking and we went our separate ways.
I don't even like your friends, Alexa. Why would I bother them in the first place if I don't like them and they don't like me?
I go to the bottom floor and into our downstairs cinema and place my phone there. That's when I decided to leave and end my call with my friends. I went to the fridge and got a little juice box of chocolate milk and I went upstairs.
I could hear noises from the room as I heard two steps of footsteps walk into the cinema. That's when they went on the couch and I heard smooching sounds.
Woah, something that I did not expect but expected to happen.
I heard Alexa come out from the bathroom.
"Finally, I found it!"
That's when I ran down the stairs and pretended to look like I lost my phone. I went into the cinema and when I opened the door and they immediately separated. I knew something was up.
"Hey, has anybody seen my phone?" I asked, pretending to be innocent and clueless.
"Oh, here it is." Jessica picked it up right by them and handed it to me.
"Thank you." I said with no emotion.
It was obvious that they were panicked when I came in, but they played it off smoothly when I came in.
This made me think about some things.
That's when I went back upstairs while sipping my chocolate milk and started chatting with Cassie online.
"I found some alarming details about my sister's relationship with her boyfriend. I took your advice and pretended to leave my phone in a random room and it looked like the two of them were almost all over each other. I cannot make this stuff up."
"Wow, I never knew Chance Cunningham or whatever his name is would do something like that. If I wasn't so sickly right now, I would so kick that little bastard's coward butt."
