"What's it like being considered the gifted child? I get that a lot, it's a position that you hold when you know more than you should, and well, I can't really say too much on it. There's not much to talk about when that topic comes out, but I'm going to make an audio recording for a project, so I'll see you later."
I turn off my camera and pick up an audio device that I have to do for "The Gifted Children's Program" for school. The question is "What is it like for you to be considered a gifted child?"
I take the audio device, go into one of the bathrooms, and start looking in the mirror, it helps with public speaking.
Also because audio sounds better in the bathroom because of the tiles.
"My name is Katherine Ruby Richardsons and the question that I have received is "What is it like to be considered a Gifted Child?" Well, the Gifted Children's program is clearly an eye opener for many individuals, and for me, there is no exception. In fact, at first, it was a topic that has never crossed my vast mind. To be considered a gifted child is a surprise to me, as I never knew what potential that I had with my brain. It just seems that this world is full of new experiences and I want to tackle all of the challenges that come my way. That is, of course with money, that cannot solve all of your problems.
In terms of solution solving, I take into account all of my immediate resources. With a situation, I cannot just buy something or find sketchy ways, I use my brain and slowly but surely, I find the information that I need. That, will help me find my solution."
That's when I paused and stopped the audio recording. I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror.
Why would they even pick me in the first place?
I don't get it.
"KAT! GET OUT OF THE BATHROOM AND STOP MAKING SHITTY MONOLOGUES BECAUSE NOBODY CARES!"
I opened the door and found Alexa.
"It seems like you lost everything but your attitude."
She gasped.
"I'm telling mom!"
"Oh please, you tell on me just because I'm ugly, like I get it, I'm ugly. I know I am."
"And that's why I'll make fun of you, because I will get under your nerves one day. One day, you will crack."
"We'll see about that." I smirked.
She gasped.
"You!"
And then she shoved me into the bathtub and the shower curtain fell on me. She laughed for a whole minute until I got up. Of course, I am sick of her bull Shia, but do I care? No. I'm just tired of her being the dominant one.
"Get out." I mumbled.
"I'm sorry? What? You were too quiet."
"I said get out."
"No."
"Fine! Then, I'll make you get out!" I suddenly went blank and the last thing that I saw was Alexa falling down the stairs.
And then, I realized what I just did.
I threw Alexa down the stairs.
But, she got up and looked at me.
"What happened to you, Kat?"
I don't know either, big sister.
