"Hi, from now on, well, if you haven't noticed, I'm going to be keeping my personal experiences short now. I just don't have as much time as I do now to constantly talk to you and everything, and trying to write my same day to day life gets boring, especially since I don't have that interesting of a life. I don't have a boyfriend, I don't have any extraordinary talents, and I can't feed you with promising content everyday. I'm sorry that I'm boring. I really am. It's just that nothing really happens anymore but I don't want to give up yet. I don't know what to say though."
I turned off the camera and threw it on my bed, and then I cried into my pillow.
Sometimes, I don't see the point in making these videos anymore. Alexa is right. I'm just going to forget about these videos and once I get back to remembering them, I'll loathe the thought of them.
But really, who am I? I feel so bland and just like a side character sometimes and I feel like nobody actually cares about me. It's like when I get the chance to write a story, nothing seems to happen.
Oh, I'm just being a drama Queen, I'll forget about this in like a few days.
I left my room and went to the balcony by my room. At the front of the house, my room gets a lot of light, but considering the fact that's it's the smallest room in the house doesn't surprise me.
What am I even writing a story about? I ponder that question to an extent. I'm just an ordinary girl in high school. I have friends, a family, and I'm a good student. Bang, that makes the blandest character in the universe also known as me.
I blend in with the crowds, that's my only purpose. I'm the quiet kid but a little bit of a know it all. Who isn't?
Name one unique quality that you have, Kat.
Hah, I cannot think of a thing.
The point of an identity is a very confusing thing just to think about. Some people, like Cassie or Alexa are vibrant characters that have a spotlight under them the whole time. It's like they invented a color or something like that.
Some people are deserving of their own production, that's why writers have the main character have something special about them.
You could literally be following somebody else's story such as a boy named Harry from British Columbia who is a natural flute player or a dog named Jim living in Antarctica.
But, why am I the main character in this story? If anything, I feel like a support character, and Alexa is the main character that does not get a lot of screen time.
Well, my goal is to kind of give Alexa an intervention, but knowing that, it probably won't work.
I'm going to keep my thoughts short and simple. You, the reader and the listener are way more deserving of being a main character than little old me. You are special in your own way, and I'm just an ordinary girl.
