I'm currently in my car on the way to the Spring house, while Alexa is on her phone, mom is deep in her thoughts and dad is driving the car. I take out my camera and turn it on.
"Hey Kat, it's me, Kat. What are we doing today, you might ask? Well, because today is the first day of Spring, we are going to the Spring House. I know, so much moving, but, it's gets better when you get there. Also, I would like you to meet my family since I promised you that."
I put the camera on Alexa.
"Ew! You're getting my bad side!" She covered her face with her hand.
"That's Alexa, she's my older sister."
She shoved the camera into my face, yet the lens was focused on her.
"Hey mom, do you mind holding the camera?" I gave the camera to her.
"Of course." She held the camera and it was pointed right at her.
"Ooops. I don't think that this is how it works. My bad." She giggled a little. That's when she adjusted the camera and made her face on a more appealing angle.
Then, she flexed the camera on my father who was still focused on the road.
"Hi Kat, it's your dad. I can't talk too much because I'm driving, but hi, I'm your dad."
I take the camera from mom and laughed a little.
We arrive at the house a few minutes later and we meet mother's grandparents again. This time, in the backyard.
The spring house has a hilly and large backyard with a small 1 bedroom cabin in the back. My grandparents chose to live back there because they want their own place to call home and also because they don't like sharing a kitchen with other family members which is understandable because sometimes, one's pots and pans drawer could be another's coffee cup drawer. My family, we don't mind, as long as we can find it and we don't have to tear the kitchen apart.
After we brought all of our things in the house, I went up to my room and unpacked my bags.
My Spring House Bedroom has 2 bathrooms and I have the only bedroom on my side of the house, so I don't feel very insecure and the nearest person is Alexa at the other side of the house and at another staircase. Mom and Dad have the biggest bedrooms in the houses most of the time, it's simple etiquette.
My bedroom is very different from my normal style, it has pink walls and white wood with a double bed, two bathrooms and I have a lounge chair in my room. Very airy. It seems like a room made for Sophie, but apparently, I chose that room when I was a child, I would have chose Sophie's room, but once you choose your room, there's no going back.
I love all of our seasonal houses, but in terms of my bedrooms, the Spring House is my least favorite but overall, the fall house is kind of odd, since it used to be a hotel and can be confusing at times with the bedrooms.
Not like anything that we own is bad or anything, everybody has preferences. But, a life lesson is that be grateful for what you have, and cherish everything that you and/or you family can afford. Please.
