"Guys! Guess where I am! I'm not at home! I'm actually doing a business trip with my family. You know what that means? A weekend of traveling and having fun, and me not having to deal with the same day over and over because I feel like I can repeat myself."

Yes, I am on a family business trip. I'm currently in London right now. Broïsé is planning on getting some good advertising deals in the U.K and why not not any better place than London itself? London is not only one of the biggest and most well known cities in the world, but some of the biggest trends are from London.

I like London because it's such a rainy and damp place but yet even if the sun doesn't really shine, it shines in hues of grey and brown. It's a very natural place with a not so bright color scheme.

England has always been a country that sparked an interest with me. Although this is not my first time in England, every time simply feels like the first. It's probably my favorite out of country travel destination.

Our England house is actually a set of 4 townhouses that are nearly identical. We take House #3, even though every house is identical on the outside, has the same layout but different interior. I take one of the bedrooms upstairs, I actually prefer bedrooms higher up if possible. Ground floor bedrooms don't sit well with me for some reason, they just don't look right.

Other than that, my room has a red theme going on with a vanity that is also a desk, a nice closet, a double bed, and a wall with LED lights. I look in the dresser and find a note.

Hey Kat,
This is Trevor, the owner of this room.
I know that you're a good person, but please don't ruin this room, ok?

Thanks,
TREVOR FRANCES :)

The funny thing is that all of the people who we switch houses with, we have close ties with. My dad has all of their numbers and normally texts them if not, calls them and tells that about his ordeal. Right now, the Frances's are probably enjoying a well needed warm weather vacation in my father's resort.

My parents actually took the bedroom on the ground floor area. They think that it would be super convenient to walk down the stairs and into their room and then just plop on the mattress and take a fat nap, if not, fall asleep.

"Kat. You ready to go?" I hear my mother's voice from downstairs.

"Yeah, I'm ready, just let me get my coat on."

I go down the stairs and hug my nom.

"Oh Kat, I love that you are so lovey dovey. Come on, we have a whole lot of shopping and exploring to do."

We leave the house and we go into mom's car. Today, we're exploring around London and going shopping. I normally don't spend these kinds of moments with my mother, but Ai really treasure them.

In the front seat, my mother and I try to sing along to the hits on Britain Radio, most of them we don't know at all which make us stumble on our words.

We go all  around town and stop at many stores such as Burberry, Lock & Co, Asprey,  Paul Smith, Pringle, Liberty, Harrods, and Mulberry just to name a few. What was Alexa doing? Well, she was with Dad and they were getting some lunch at a fancy place that Alexa searched up and not a McDonald's because obviously McDonalds were not considered a valid restaurant in Alexa's book.

I took out my phone and video camera and started taking videos and pictures of the stores, the streets, random things that caught my eye, and my mom and I even had a photo shoot. Believe it or not, you would kill to have a mother like mine with photo shoots. She might be cold but she has charisma.

My phone rings and it's from dad.

"Hey dad, how's everything going?"

"Terrible. I want to get McDonald's for dinner: but, Alexa is causing a fit and I know mom doesn't like McDonald's either."

"Just tell Alexa to text mom on what she wants at some salad bar and you and I could get McDonald's. I know you've been craving McDonald's for a while. And, I'll take a quarter pounder. With ketchup please and small fries please. Oh, and a drink. Just get me water please. Thank you dad. I love you."

I ended the call.

I did a little dance and mom noticed.

"Is that you happy dance?"

"I'm getting McDonald's. British McDonald's."

I had a little extra pep in my step that day.
