Getting Techno into the bakery was a lot harder than she originally thought, Quackity had somehow managed to let everyone know he was with me in Manberg. The first to know was Dream. He hadn't been the happiest when Sapnap had told the man that Cypress was back, with Technoblade nonetheless. Dream wasn't exactly very friendly, especially to new people, and those who could possible be better than he was. He hadn't planned on confronting the man, but seeing the two in the bakery, laughing together, rubbed him the wrong way.

Dream wouldn't intervene now, Cypress needed a break, so he refrained from asking Technoblade to duel with him. Instead, he opted for going into the bakery, not only surprising Niki, who was about to bring hot cocoa and muffins to the two other adults, but surprising Cypress as well. Technoblade didn't look happy when her attention drifted to Dream. She gave him a small wave, which the taller man returned. Niki carefully set Techno's and Cypress' drinks down, before scooting in next to Cypress so she wouldn't be caged in by Dream.

Of course this caused Dream to have a small frown on his face for a few seconds, but he slid into the seat next to Techno's.

"What brings you into L'Manberg?"He asks cautiously, ignoring the man to his right, staring a hole into the side of his head, Techno and Cypress both shrugged at the same time, causing Niki to laugh a little. Cypress grinned, gently bumping her elbow with Niki's side, both of them seemed unaware of Dream giving the pinkette small glares from the corner of his eyes.

"I wanted to take Techno to the bakery, Niki was going to stay with us for a bit."The black haired woman explained,"Niki also wanted to dye her hair, we both offered to stay once the bakery closed and help." She added, Niki nodded with a small smile, looking at her friend.

Cypress turned towards Dream, raising an eyebrow."So what are you doing here? Don't you hate Niki? no offence"She turned to friend, Dream sort of winced, he wasn't a fan of the shorter woman, and almost everyone knew that. Technoblade looked at him odd, slowly moving his booted foot to stomp on Dreams. Unfortunately, the man next to him shot up, and left without another word.

"He's weird."Techno deduced, biting into the muffin, opening an eye every so often to look at Cypress. Niki smiled, before hugging Cypress.

"I'll go ahead and leave you too, I'll close up the shop in an hour or so? So maybe you can go see Tubbo?"She suggested, dusting her apron, before walking away. Cypress turned towards Techno, and kicked his shin.

"I know you were going to stomp on his foot."She spoke, crossing her arms. Techno looked at her, almost innocently.

"I wasn't going to do anything."He denied, closing his eyes, almost as if she couldn't see him if he couldn't see her. Techno took another bite of the muffin, peaking open an eye before giving his friend a small smile.

"Can we go see Tubbo?"Cypress asked, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. The pinkette rolled his eyes before standing up, jokingly holding his hand out to her. Cypress rolled her eyes right back, standing up and grabbing his hand. The red coat that was still wrapped around her shoulders swayed when she stood up. Technoblade wasn't one to blush, and he didn't, but his heart clenched for a few seconds. He quickly shook it off, letting the woman lead him to her son. 

Techno had never met him formally, the pinkette was usually gone when her son had come to relay information, part of him was nervous to meet him, oddly. Cypress' seemed excited, so who was he to deny her that. 

Tubbo hadn't exactly been doing the best, Schlatt was becoming more and more unbearable for the teen to handle. Seeing his mother was probably the best he's felt in so long. Techno felt her hand leave his own as she sprinted towards the brunette teen, embracing him in a tight hug. She felt the smaller boy tremble in her arms, and felt his legs slowly go limp. She blinked in concern, and slowly allowed them to slip down onto the ground. Tubbo was softly weeping into her shoulder, his breathing irregular and fast paced.

"It's okay Tubbo, its okay."She cooed softly, rocking the pair slowly back and forth.

"Well isn't this a sight. My run away secretary, my Tubbo, and a pig."Schlatt was a bit aways from the the trio, Cypress felt Tubbo tense up in her arms, which caused her to turn up her head to look at the goat man.

"We're having a festival."Schlatt says, taking a few steps towards them, Techno, almost immediately stepped in front of the two. Cypress had one of the most pissed off facial expressions the pinkette had ever seen on the woman. He noticed 'Schlatt' shiver slightly, and remove his gaze from the woman on the floor.

"Tubbo?"She whispered softly, noticing the boy had gone still a few seconds ago. When he didn't respond she quickly checked that he was still breathing, letting out a relieved sigh. She gently set his head down on the soft grass, before standing up. She walked in front of Techno, him giving her a warning look. Schlatt had a polite smile on his face.

"For everything i've done to you,"He paused, interlacing his fingers together,"You can have one free hit, free of charge. I swear to you no harm will come to you, Tubbo, Tommy, anyone, from this particular action. Consider it me be kind, I know you want to kill me."he teased, the grin still remaining on his face. He knew the woman was beyond pissed at him, and even he could recognize the bits of blood lust lacing her green eyes. Cypress took a small breath.

"Free of charge? No consequences?" She tilted her head, slowly walking up the man,"We can play a little game, by my own rules of course."The woman whispered in the Presidents ear.

"Care for a game of chess, Schlatt?"
