The cheery night of the last day of the year was joyous. Foods and beverages have led through people's stomachs and filled them all up, satisfying their hunger and excitement for the brand new year.

Within their own chambers were two love birds enjoying each other's presence and silently wishing for the new year up ahead. A everlasting love that can grow into a happy family of their own.

"Hey, love?" The person calls out and flows by their comforting silent atmosphere. Looking down unto their lap to see the female smiling up at them with her eyes closed shut.

Humming in response, opening a lid to look up unto the peculiar face she loved more than anything. "What is it?"

"I love you." A cheeky smile/grin/smirk grew unto their faces. The familiar lovable features of the person that she cares and cherish. This person that has went with her through thick and thin. A blessing from the heavens surely.

"It's midnight, soon." They spoke, flashing a relieved smile. Spending the last bits of the year filled with joy, fury, sadness, and more. It has been a splendid year and they wish to spend more time with his lover

"The year is ending." She huffed and puffed her cheeks, earning a chuckle from the person as they run through their fingers over her hair. "It seems to pass by so quickly, don't you think?"

"True. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the two of us." The person responded, taking her into their embrace.

The heated warmth of their body was enough to melt the cold. She muffled by their stomach, earning further fits of chuckles that were harmony through her ears. "Whatever happens, I will always love you, no matter what."

"I'm grateful to be able to spend another year together with you."

"I thank you for being there always for me." She leaned over their personal loveseat, pressing her face unto the person's shoulders with a gentle and paraded smile.

The cheers and shouts of joy were fascinating, but yet, they were both stuck inside their own universe and dimension they created themselves.

"As do I. I apologize for any wrongdoings I have done. I shall cherish you till the end of time and respect you as a person that I truly cared for." They replied, pressing a chaste kiss over her forehead.

"I too am deeply sorry for all the mistakes I have done. I'm truly blessed to have such a patient woman/girl/man/boy as my very own lover! My, I have never thought of myself having an attractive lover with a strong will." She laughs, earning a new set of laugh from the person he carries.

"You flatter me way too much. I love you."

They leaned in close, countdowns echoed by their room from the outside. The fleeting excitement for what they could do at that moment was undying and revolting.

Clasping their lips, intertwined ; Arms wrapped around their figures as their lips danced along and claimed their new year's kiss. Tightening the gentle hug, she pulled away in gasp of air.

"I love you too." The male responded, earning a lovable laugh of his lover.

"You said that a year after..."

"Happy new year!"
