Hike to Hogsmeade

As Aurora walked out of the Gryffindor common room before classes a few weeks later, she stopped at the notice board.

'HOGSMEADE VISIT NEXT WEEKED' was written on a piece of parchment in big letters. As Aurora walked to Transfiguration, she thought about whether she should go or not.

Even though her and Harry weren't supposed to go to Hogsmeade, Aurora decided to go anyway. She didn't have Harry's cloak this time, but she would have to think of another way. She couldn't stand being in the castle much longer.

That weekend, Aurora got up around 10:00. She was still tired from the lack of sleep from previous nights, but it was better than what she had been getting.

Aurora dressed in a blue sweater and wore some jeans along with black healed shoes. After putting on some makeup and brushing her hair, she left the dorm to go to the Great Hall for some breakfast.

Since most of the students were already at Hogsmeade, the hall was mostly empty except for some first and second year students. Aurora sat at her usual spot and grabbed some fruit and toast.

After a quick meal, she set off to Hogsmeade.

The girl walked to the stope where Filch would be checking if students had forms signed for Hogsmeade, and hid behind a pillar nearby. The blonde looked around to make sure that nobody could see what she was doing and quickly cast and invisibility charm. Even though she was invisible, people might still see the imprints of her shoes as she walked to the village, Aurora also cast a concealment charm.

Aurora scurried past Filch -who was strangely muttering to himself- and began her hike to Hogsmeade.

When Aurora arrived at Hogsmeade, she undid the charms she cast before leaving. After making sure that the charms were off, (since it would be quite strange to see random footprints on the dirt walkway) Aurora began browsing the different shops.

The girl eventually decided to go to Honeydukes, since she enjoyed the candy she bought from the last time she went and was almost out. She walked into the shop and the gold bell at the top of the door rang, notifying the store clerk that someone was there. As Aurora walked into the shop, the familiar scents of chocolate and caramel made their way to her nose.

Aurora immediately made her way to the chocolate section, grabbing some of her favorite types and bringing it to the counter. She payed the cashier and left, not wanting to spend to much money on candy.

Before Aurora make her way back to Hogwarts- there was no other reason for Aurora wanting to go there other than to get candy- she cast the charms on herself again.

When she finished the concealment charm, she heard voices around the corner. She quietly walked around- forgetting that whoever it was wouldn't be able to hear her- and saw Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle teasing Hermione and Ron.

Before she could do anything about it without revealing herself, Crabbe's pants were pulled down and Goyle's hat was pulled over his eyes.

The three Slytherins began screaming, not seeing anyone other that the muggleborn and red head. Draco began swiping at the air and before the other invisible person had a chance to move, a head was shown.

It was Harry.

After Aurora's invisible encounter with the rest of the Golden Quartet and her cousin, along with his friends, she went back to the castle to warm up. She didn't know why she was so cold- seeing as it was almost spring- but she didn't question it and just sat by the fire, burred underneath warm blankets after bringing the candy up to her room.

Aurora saw Ron and Hermione walk in the common room, looking scared about something. Luckily, they didn't see her, and went to a table on the other side of the room.

A few minutes later, Harry came in and she could tell that Ron and Hermione were breathing sighs of relief.

From what she heard with an eavesdropping charm, Draco told Professor Snape that he saw Harry in Hogsmeade, which almost got Harry in trouble if it wasn't for Aurora's papa. Hermione immediately began lecturing Harry, telling him that she was right and that they shouldn't have gone to Hogsmeade.

Aurora was secretly glad that her papa was there to get Harry out of trouble.

She was not glad, however, when Harry spotted her from the other side of the common room.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
