Aurora was excited.

She would be spending the rest of the summer with the Weasleys, along with Harry and Hermione. Sirius and Remus thought that this would be good for her, hoping that being around her friends would cause the dreams to be less frequent.

Aurora wiped her long blonde hair out of her face as she attempted to close her overflowing trunk. She tried sitting on it, pushing it down hard, and even stacking things on top of it in hopes that it would close enough for her to be able to lock it, but nothing worked. She huffed and stood back up, eyes widening when she noticed that Sirius was at the door, leaning on the frame with a smirk on his face.

"Need some help?" he asked, noticing the frustrated look on her face.

"Please," she responded, and he walked over, easily pushing it down and locking it. "Erm... I loosened the hinges for you," Aurora said, trying to cover up the fact that she wasn't very strong.

"Right... Well, if you need me to do anything else that requires muscle, you know where to find me," Sirius responded, turning to walk out the door.

"Sure, thanks, erm... sir?" Aurora thanked, not really knowing what to call her father. That was one of the things that was awkward for the girl. She and Sirius didn't really know each other well, and no matter how much he tried to connect with Aurora, the two of them couldn't form the same relationship that she and Remus have. Aurora didn't really feel comfortable calling Sirius dad, and Sirius had to wait for her to do so instead of pushing her. He was getting rather impatient, but he knew that asking her to do that could cause them to go back to square one.

A couple hours later, Aurora was ready to go to the Burrow. She gathered her trunk, along with the cage for her cat, Minerva.

"Are you ready to go?" Remus asked and Aurora nodded in response. They gave each other a big hug. After she left his embrace, the girl walked over to Sirius and the two did an awkward handshake thing.

Aurora then went over to the fireplace and grabbed a handful of floo powder.

She said her location and was engulphed in flames.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
