Aurora didn't want to seem rude, but if you got your Animagus based off how you looked, there was no question as to why Peter Pettigrew's was a rat.

He was probably in his mid-thirties, however, he looked much older than that. He was balding but still had some hair sticking out of the back of his head. His nose twitched as his eyes darted around the room, looking at each person there. He had big, yellow teeth and Aurora didn't even want to know how he could have stayed with them in that condition.

"We were just discussing you, Peter," Sirius spat out, "Along with the events that happened the night James and Lily died."

Beads of sweat dripped down Pettigrew's face. "Sirius! Remus! How lovely to see you two again!"

"Let's skip the chit chat, Peter, and get down to business," Remus scowled.

"We know what happened on Halloween of 1981," Sirius told the man.

"W-what are you talking about?!" Peter stuttered.

"We know you're the reason Harry wasn't raised by his parents," the werewolf said.

"James... Lily! I would never! You four!" Peter turned to the Gryffinfour, "You don't believe them, do you! Harry- I was best friends with your parents! I would never tell their location to you-know-who!"

"We all know who the spy is, Peter."

"So do I! Who could have told the location to you-know-who other than the spy, Sirius Black!" Peter tried to convince.

"I- a spy for Voldemort? How could you assume such a thing!" Sirius boomed.

"You betrayed James a-and Lily," Peter argued back.

"You were the one who told Voldemort their location!"

Peter turned to Ron, sweating even more now (Which Aurora didn't think was possible). "Ron, you believe me- don't you? I was your pet, your friend. Please!"

"Get away from me, old man!" Ron shouted. Peter gave up trying to convince Ron, and instead turned to Harry.

"Harry, I was your father's friend, his brother-"

"Get away from my godson!" Sirius yelled, looking like he wanted to punch Peter. Peter coward back slightly, but tried to cover it up by turning to Hermione.

"You're a smart girl, aren't you? You believe me-"

"Get away from her," Aurora snarled.

Peter looked pathetic as he tried to convince Aurora that he wasn't the spy. "You know me, Aurora. You used to dress me up and put makeup on me when you were younger. You know I wouldn't betray Lily and James."

"GET OFF MY DAUGHTER!" Sirius roared, while Remus sent glares at the Pettigrew man. Aurora had never seen either of them (especially Sirius because she hadn't seen him in years) look this protective over her.

Peter didn't try to talk to any members of the Gryffinfour- especially Aurora- after that.

It seemed to take him awhile to catch on to the fact that nobody wanted him here and nobody thought he was innocent.

"Shall we kill him, Remus?" Sirius asked, smirking.

"I think we shall."

The two held their wands in the direction of Peter, and when they went to open their mouths, Harry's voice stopped them.

"No! Don't do it!" he told them. Remus and Sirius turned to him.

"Harry... you do realize what he did to your parents, right?" Remus asked. Harry nodded.

"I do, but I don't think my dad would want you two to become murderers because of him," Harry explained. "Plus, if the ministry finds him alive, Sirius is free."

Remus and Sirius didn't even think about how the ministry could take them both to Azkaban or get the dementors kiss for killing Peter. They didn't want that to happen, not because their souls would be sucked out (although that is a good reason to not want to kill the rat), but because Aurora would be left without parents.

They wouldn't let that man make an orphan of their daughter.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
